I bought several pairs of these 3-4 years ago. The style has changed so that they aren't as comfy to those in the thick thighs society like myself. It's more of a straight leg instead of the overlapping fabric in previous models. Instead of being flowy they cling to the thighs. I returned.

Very baggy on me. I like the high rise and the waist fits but the width of the leg area is way to big so these shorts flop around when running.

I just purchase these shorts for activities and running. The fit is good. I do not care for really short shorts to run in and love the length on these, this pair works great !

This new model does not fit large thighs well. I have always been a L in Chase 7in Shorts; however, this new model is too tight on my legs. I tried an XL and it was way too large in the waist and sagged down. I literally cannot wear these shorts anymore. For reference, I am 5'2" and 170lbs with a pear shape body. I'm so sad because these were the only shorts I've been able to run comfortably in for years. I don't know what I'm going to do now. Brooks, please consider bringing back the leg slit to allow a little extra room for those of us with larger thighs.

I give this one star because I love the length. However, these shorts are very different from my original chaser shorts. The new ones are cheaply tailored. I don?t understand the ruffle on the back. Stupid! Also, the hemline at the front used to curve up on the side, now it is just cut off in a square which, if you sew, is much easier to sew, but looks cheap! I can buy similar shorts at discount retailers for half the price! Brooks has lowered its standards and it is evident!

Do not like the new style?.liked the old ones that have the openness to move & not feel constricted.
