I'm a woman and i buy brooks running shorts because a med fits my hips and the material and quality are superior. i like this shorts because the running shorts for women seem to be high cut with a lot of leg exposure. This 7in shorts gives me the coverage that make me feel comfortable.

I was looking for shorts that allowed for me to carry a cell phone, for emergencies and tracking. These shorts have a zippered pocket that contains a smaller cell phone (iPhone 11) snugly--I'm not sure a newer, bigger one would fit. I noticed the phone when I started running, up against my lower back, but it didn't bounce around and I quickly forgot about it. Everything else was fine, although I wish there was a zippered pocket for a key fob: there's a loop, but that doesn't help unless you have some kind of clip on the fob. I worried it might fall out, but it didn't. Also: I wish there was a pocket I could put an ID card in; I like to carry some ID with me, just in case I pass out or something. You could just keep one with your phone though.

Like most thing from Brooks, these shorts are a great product. Perfect fit and length, the lining material is very comfortable and - for those of you who enjoy a little color - plenty of options. Nothing bad to point out about them. The Brooks logo on the leg will peel after a few washes, but I don't think I've owned a pair of shorts where that didn't happen.

Best shorts I've found for ultra endurance running. Good support, minimal chafing, and usable pockets. I've been using mine for over a year and they're holding up well.

Expensive up front cost but since the quality is excellent and prior running shorts have lasted for ten years they are a great value purchase. Plan to buy two more.

Great length and fit, wear them as everyday shorts too

These shorts are prefect. The waist band is surprisingly comfortable.

Very comfortable, not too long but not too short. Wash up nicely and seem to be holding up very well!!

These shorts have become my new go-to for trail runs between 10 - 20 miles where I want to run with a few gels and a hand-held water bottle. The zippered pocket across the back fits my phone (iPhone 13 mini) perfectly with zero bounce on either uphills or downhills. I prefer shorts that have a wider and more form-fitting waistband and some flexibility and stretch through the leg. The material is light and breathable and moves very well. I would highly recommend these for either road or trail runs.

These are my favorite Brooks shorts right now. The fit is nice, the length is great for flexibility, but also not looking like a 80's track coach. The liner is also spot-on and doesn't bunch, nor is it too tight. Honestly, I'd review shorts solely on liners if given the option; this is often a make or break for me.

Best running shorts ever! These are all I wear.
