Favorite pair of shorts for racing. Pockets much more functional than on previous version I owned. Medium waist slightly big on me (5?10? 160lb), but not a problem as long as you tie them. If I carry my phone it does t bounce around at all unlike other shirts with ?regular? side pockets

These are the best running shorts with storage and zipper pockets I've come across. The zipper pocket on the side hip is perfect fit for a phone and holds it securely against leg. The storage pockets around the waist are plentiful and easy to access. The built in brief makes the short very comfortable! I bought 3 more of these and is all I plan to use. I do feel like they run a bit large because of the fit around the waist. I ended sending large back for a medium and it's perfect

Very comfortable fit. The zipper cell phone pocket is a big upgrade over older versions that just had an envelop pocket on the liner under the outer shorts. The waist band is also big upgrade to older models.

These are my new, favorite shorts. Inner liner is conforming and comfortable. Outer is lightweight and moves well without binding up. Pockets are a deal maker for me. Side pocket is perfect for my iPhone 12 Pro and the waist pockets are ideal for gels, keys, etc. Now I have 6 or 7 pair, lost count.

Fit is good / sizing is accurate. Like the number of and placement of pockets. One of the most comfortable pair of running shorts available. Great for lounging around the house as well. Have several colors, this being my 3rd pair. Would highly recommend.

I walk 8-12 miles 4Xs a week. This short is the best and most advanced set of shorts you have ever produced! Cell phone and hip pockets in the right quantity and size, facilitate carry everything I need comfortably. Make sure this design remains in your inventory!!

Fantastic, especially in hot and humid air. I always search out boxer brief liner running shorts and these fit loose and do not ride up at all. For years I?ve worn a competitors brand but was so hard to find when available. This is a much better change at a great quality and lower cost! Ran in my first pair once, then immediately order a 2nd. Thank you Brooks.

The new Sherpa 7" 2-in-1 shorts are my favorites for running and working out. I've been wearing different versions of the Sherpa since 2016, and without a doubt these are the best design, best fit, and most comfortable. Unless you're into a shorter short, I highly recommend these for any active pursuit!

Great improvements over the previous version of these shorts. The sizing has been corrected (the previous version ran small). The waist band is awesome. Most of all, the side pockets are WAY better than the nearly useless ones on the earlier version. Bravo!!

I LOVE these shorts. I've been wearing them for years. This most recent version is my favorite with the new mesh pockets around the waist band. Gives me a spot to put my dog's slip lead and any other small accessories I want. The older versions had a pocket on liner for a cell phone, which was cool, but tough for thick legs like mine. Now there's a pocket with a zipper which is even better. They also feel great when running.

I LOVE these shorts. Super soft and comfy. The liner does not chafe on long runs.

This is my first pair of Brooks Running Shorts. They are really comfortable, the lining is snug without being too tight. I love the stretch in the short so it is very comfortable on all runs.

This is the best pair of Brooks shorts I've ever worn. Outer material has more stretch than previous Brooks shorts and that's a much-appreciated upgrade. The phone pocket works great for me. These have the best waistband in any pair of running shorts I've ever worn. Stretch pockets can carry loads of gels. There's a key loop but I'm not sure how to use it. I'm probably overthinking it. If anyone from Brooks reads this and can follow-up with a tutorial on the key loop it would be much apprelciated.

This new version is even better! The wider waistband is more stable and better for layering under jackets. The redesigned side pockets are easier to get into and the key loop is a nice addition. The liner provides very little compression in my size but is extremely comfortable.

I really like these shorts, been searching for a comfortable pair of shorts for awhile and have gone through multiple brands and these are my favorite by far. The phone pocket is great, phone doesn't bounce and you barely notice its there, I never ran with my phone before but I think I will now. The upper storage pockets are great for snacks. Liner is a good thickness and level of compression, I would say medium level of compression, it stays put, had no issues with it riding up at all on a 16 mile run. The cut of the short is great, not too slim but also not overly baggy. I got a size medium, I'm 5"9, 165, 31" waist.
