Sad to see these discontinued. I've tried 5-6 brands over the past 10 years, and the Sherpa 2-in-1 (5" and 7") have been the standout favorites since 2022.

I have had lots of running shorts over the years and personally prefer shorts with a liner. These fit well, the waistband is comfortable, the pocket can hold a phone / keyfob / gel/Gu or any combination of these. I haven't had any issues with chafing and have done multiple 10+ mile runs in them. Will buy another pair.

Have 3 pair as these are the best short for me, the right type and combination of pocket and pouches. In a pinch the side pocket can hold your phone securely with mostly zero jostling, due to the "tights" type vs brief interior. The pouches hold a bunch of gels comfortably. Worth the price

I love these shorts so much I bought more. They are comfortable and breathable during long and short runs. Whenever I wear these I am complimented. Pairs well with a Brooks tank or tee shirt.

My new favorite shorts! Fit is excellent- TTS. Extremely comfortable, like the boxer brief style inner liner with integrated pocket that can accommodate my phone (when needed- I prefer not to run with a phone but sometimes you have to.). Side pockets are also very useful/versatile. Replacing my Patagonia Strider Pro's I've been running in forever.

These are by far my favorite running shorts. I enjoy the side pocket for my phone and then the pockets along the waist band are perfect for holding gels. Also, I enjoy the compression shorts lining better than the other types. I'm slowly phasing out all my other shorts to be replaced with this style.

I got these for a 50k trail race. I did every one of my long runs and the race in them, and they are phenomenal. There was hardly ever any chafing, they are very comfortable and non-restrictive. The phone pocket is super secure, I never even noticed my phone in it. The other pockets are great for holding car keys, gels, and anything else you need. I have worn the linerless version of this for a few years, but this was the first pair of the 2-in-1 that I got, and I love them. This will be my go-to pair for long runs and races for the foreseeable future. Only issue I had with them was with the drawstring. If I tied it too tight, it would chafe my waist, but this was easily fixed by loosening the drawstring.

No more chafing on 10+ miles of running (was my priority) - great fit. Very comfortable. Great pockets. The phone is relatively snuck, almost no bouncing. I immediately forget about it. A little pricy though.

The best 2-in-1 shorts. I think the inner liner could be a little longer though. No complaints! Although I was a little unsure of the belt part, it seemed a bit thick but I?ve been using these shorts for a few weeks and have no issues.

Excellent 2-1 running short. In hotter weather, I had suffered a bit of chaffing with regular shorts and these solved the problem. Very comfortable and cool color (endurance tonal). Good storage.

Tried multiple shorts from multiple brands and these are now my favorite. Best pockets I?ve found. Fits great. Lightweight. Comfortable waistband. Just wish these shorts and the atmosphere tank top came in more colors; I?d buy every solid color they make.

The inner shorts reduce chaffing on long runs. Two great pockets? either will hold a phone and keep it from flopping around.

Really like these shorts despite some issues. Biggest problem is the massive hole in the zip-up pocket. Brooks told me it?s intentional for running a headphone cable, but that fails. Cant run a cable between the inner and outer layer anyway, and the hole is more than an inch (2.54 cm) in diameter if made into a circle. Small things like AirPods are not safe in that pocket. I wish Brooks would fix this. But I still buy these because of the no-friction inner boxer brief. I like them a lot on the whole.

Big fan of these shorts, they are comfortable. Liner is perfect, doesn't ride up my legs. Liked them so much I bought a second pair.

I can?t seem to find any other running shorts that fit and feel like the Sherpa 5. They are so soft and easy on the skin for long miles.

These are great running shorts. I particularly like the inner layer that extends down to my upper thigh, and the outer layer, which is well fitted and not baggy. Pockets are just large enough to hold my car keys when I?m out for a run. Might not be adequate to hold your phone if you use that during your run.

Fit great and are super comfortable. I like the wide waist bend - doesn't bunch up on longer runs and keeps the shorts in place without having to tie an excessively tight knot on the drawstring.
