I read a review that said "Sky's out thighs out!" and though "why not?". These are SHORT. And I love 'em. But disclaimer: the storage is limited and you can't run with a phone in your pocket. My phone fit in the back pocket but it flopped around so much it was untenable. So, these are for minimalist runs where you need little storage. The only short I have so far that I might like more is my Rabbit Tried 'n True but those are much heavier/larger. Side note: I bought a pair of Brooks shorts from a place called Run Pro in Eugene like 20 years ago and I still own them (they have zero storage so I don't run in them super often to be fair). Brooks has honestly done me good and I am running on a pair of Ghost 15's and it's my favorite shoe as well for comfort.

My first pair of shorty shorts and they feel like I?m wearing nothing. Light weight, move well. Great for tempo and speed work. Pockets hold nutrition and necessities in place. I?ll pick up another pair at some point.

I?m digging these shorts overall. Very lightweight. The liner is very comfortable and unobtrusive. I sometimes wear them over my running tights and there is no slipping, sliding, or sagging. The split on these is partial, not all the way up which I prefer. The fit is good, if a tad large at the waist (my waist size is at the top end of Medium sizing and the elastic still has plenty of give. Not an issue though). My only nitpick is the drawstring eyelets are cut too close to each other and it?s difficult to get a tight cinch with the string. It doesn?t affect performance whatsoever, and I assume it?s made this way to avoid bunching in that area. I don?t know why but I also feel about 2.6% faster while wearing them! Amazing!

This is my first pair of split shorts, and so far, so good. The brief liner is supportive and comfortable. It won?t prevent any chafing if you have that issue, but it should be easy enough to apply a lubricant even with the shorts on. I have high hopes for the pockets for a marathon coming up. The key loop has already proven to be super useful. And, a bonus: I just won a local 5K in them :)

Been running in Sherpas for 13 plus years. Love the material, rise, waistband, etc. It had been min since I've bought a pair, and according to the size chart, I was an XL. Had to send them back and get a L. On that note, Brooks return process is fantastic. Cheers

Nice shorts, but the liner isn?t really cut for men. Haven?t flashed anyone yet, but I?ll be careful where I wear them.

These are comfortable. The waist is elastic and durable, so I imagine the shorts will not need to be be replaced for some time. The inner web mesh is roomy, not restrictive. The style is cool

Ordered a pair as part of the summer sale and now want one in every color. The waist band is very comfortable and the shorts breath well for those longer runs. It had a decent size exterior pocket that holds my keys without having to worry about them falling out.

Best shorts ever. Seriously. Why didn?t I get these earlier. 3? is perfect for summer running. Quality is like none I?ve ever seen in running shorts. Love them. Only complaint is size XS is mostly out of stock, guess I need to order earlier next year.

I like these shorts a lot. The liner is very comfortable -- soft, no chafing. The construction is excellent. The 3" inseam is perfect for me: shorter feels too short, longer feels too skirt-like. The waistband is especially comfortable. My only quibble is that the pockets are all rather shallow with wide openings: perfect for a gel perhaps but not ideal for keys. I wish there were one pocket with a narrow (1") opening, twice as deep so that my keys wouldn't jostle around (I have to wrap them in a rubber band when I wear these shorts). Not a deal breaker however. Finally, I find the full price too high (for me): fortunately there's nearly always a few pair on sale--I wouldn't buy them otherwise.

Great pair of short shorts that I barely even notice while I'm running whether it's raining or dry. The only thing I would change is to add a back pocket for a phone. Otherwise these are a wonderful pair of shorts that I look forward to running in.
