What happened to the spandex boxer briefs liner that the 3'' Sherpa used to have? These have been my favorite running shorts, but no more. This briefs liner is not as good. It is mesh, so that is an improvement, but the only plus to this new liner. There's nowhere near enough room in the front, they feel like I put on women's shorts! It leaves me smashed and spilling out. Separation from my inner thigh is non-negotiable in this part of the world, where morning runs are hot and at 100% humidity. You have made a chafing device and I will not subject myself to the torture. I had to return this and I will have to look elsewhere now for running shorts. :(

They're okay. I was some what disappointed that the waist has little stretch to it. You need to rely on using the internal draw string to keep them on your waist. I was after basic 3 inch short with a place to put my car key fob. For the money these sorts re not worth it.

These work as lounge shorts. The liner had to be removed as it offered no support.

I LOVE split leg shoes and thus far am okay with the short. That said, the gold standard for this type of product is the Brooks Sherpa 2" split short from 2018 and this short is not it. A performance split leg short should be 2". Period.

I like the waste band, but that was about it. On the other hand, these might be perfect if you are a serious or speedy runner. For me, too large and too flashy. I do wear short shorts, but these were just not right.

Unlike traditional running/racing short. Too much material and wide waist band is more engineering then necessary. Medium size fits large

I was really hoping to like these since they 3" inseams with a decent amount of space for storage but unfortunately I did not. I ordered true to size, which is a medium, and the waistband just sat funny and the leg openings were too wide. I took them out on two runs and chafed pretty bad after each one. I will be returning these.

They fit weird. I?ve had other Brooks shorts that were perfect. These are the same size, but have wide leg holes and have to be tightened up with the drawstring!

Haven't run in them. Will return. The leg openings are gigantic. Practically as large as the waist. Fit is sloppy and flouncy. I guess some people want that?

Have 3 pair of them. Should return them earlier. As much I love Brooks and collect 3" and all my sport gear brooks. This is the most AWFUL style for Sherpa, super unbalanced, pockets are flimsy, waist band too tall, I have iner net tighter than the waist hold, crazy I know. Definitely the worst 3" shorts for last 6 years using brooks.

Ordered a medium and the waist fit closer to a large. Couldn?t even run in them.

Probably the worst split short that Brooks has ever produced and I've been wearing their split shorts for over 10 years. The waistband rides up while running and the shorts have a very boxy look/feel and don't "V" up on the sides. Add that with the lack of a normal split, and the range of motion is affected. Brooks, can you just please bring back the podium split short for those of us who are still wearing short shorts and just want the basic pair? I know the typical runner isn't interested in 3" shorts, but trying to reinvent them was a bad idea.

Great materials and style, but what happened to the fit? Whenever I wear these shorts I have to constantly readjust them to the point that I?m worried I?m going to moon unsuspecting strangers on the paths. I?ve always gotten Brooks shorts, and these are the first pair I?ve had issues with.

They were too big and I had to return them. I used an exclusive 25% discount code for doing a 12 week survey. When I tried to purchase the correct size the discount code didn't work. I have emailed twice and no one will give me a new code.

I was excited to get my new shorts but was rightfully apprehensive to have ordered them sight unseen. The product runs very large. I removed the tags and tried them on so I was uncomfortable asking for a return. I checked with the ?true fit? tool and it told me to get a medium, which was based on my height, weight, and historically purchased Nike brand shirts but it was way off. I recommend ordering a size down. I guess I?ll have to order another pair. :-(
