It almost feels like Im wearing nothing at all. But seriously, these shorts are ultralight, but comfy and supportive. Especially for a trail runs. I bought the yellow, steal with the sales price, so its a nice color pop. I appreciate the 4 small hip pockets for storage. A small zipper pocket would be the only thing I would ask for. Otherwise, super pleased again with Brooks apparel.

Im really upset with this order Because now Ill probably never wear any other shorts again! These are the most free and comfortable shorts Ive ever put on and theyre great for both road and trail. A huge bonus are the intelligently designed split pockets that also have a key hook built in!

Been running in Sherpas for 13 plus years. Love the material, rise, waistband, etc. It had been min since I've bought a pair, and according to the size chart, I was an XL. Had to send them back and get a L. On that note, Brooks return process is fantastic. Cheers

Amazing pair of shorts. Wore them through a 50K ultra marathon and they're probably the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn! Super light, breathable, and comfortable. The only thing I'd say is you might need to get a size down. I initially got a size large but had to get a medium as the large was falling off me haha. But no issue, they were great with returns so I am still giving 5 stars. Probably going to be getting more pairs.

High quality materials & design Poor fit Im 62 with a 31 waist. I tried both size S and M. S fits waist, but the leg opening is a bit too tight and the total length is an inch or two too short. M is the right total length & leg opening, but the waist is too big. The unique waist band isnt as flexible as a traditional one, and doesnt feel quite right on me in either size. If they fit they would be great!

Nice shorts, but the liner isnt really cut for men. Havent flashed anyone yet, but Ill be careful where I wear them.

These are easily the lightest and fastest feeling shorts I have ever worn. Love the comfortable waistband and fuel pockets. Will look forward to purchasing another pair.

Best shorts ever. Seriously. Why didnt I get these earlier. 3 is perfect for summer running. Quality is like none Ive ever seen in running shorts. Love them. Only complaint is size XS is mostly out of stock, guess I need to order earlier next year.

Got the Sherpa split, in vivid flame. It seemed on line like they were two toned shorts, a dark pumpkin color, with a rust along the back. The shorts were one color and the orange was more of a orange/pink, they are very bright, but bought a large, I am 5'9" 200 lbs. and they fit perfect and comfy.

Pros -- light weight, great fit, allow for ease of motion, look great on Cons -- the inner leg tends to run up and bunch up during run, it wasn't until the fabric was weighed down by sweat that I didn't have to keep adjusting during run

Really like them. Even went to the local running store and bought more. Tried it on in the store and found that the next smaller size fit better.

I really like these shorts - the color I got (yellow) is great and they feel fantastic. I wish it had a a more secure pocket for the key - my key just feels a little loose in the pocket.

Love that you finally brought back short shorts with pockets. Love the key pocket, especially. Waist fit is odd but not uncomfortable once I tie pull the drawstring tight. Don't like the men's inner-brief.

Love the pockets on the side for gels. These are my go to long run shorts. However they seem to run a little big.

Quality/finish is great. Pockets and features fantastic. Higher, thicker waistband is very nice. But quite baggy for the sizing; lots of loose fabric in the back of legs and back of crotch (even for a split short). Some people may like it but I prefer a trimmer fit with less excess material (it tends to flap around and/or absorb excess sweat).

Waist band is too wide - detracts from an otherwise super comfortable short

I like the fabric and liner and pockets but the waist is too tall for my taste and it rides up my waste. I think I'd go for the elite split shorts for a more minimal feel

Waist stays wet and shirts chaffed during my marathon. Pockets for gels worked well. I like the colorful design, just don?t care for the waist.

The length is good, but I miss having the pockets in the inner lining. Whenever I put anything in these pockets it makes the pants ride up and I constantly have to readjust them.
