Purchased year ago...Condensation when ice water is added to 40oz wide mouth.... Maybe good for 12 hour ice retention

I bought my bottle about one month ago and have realized that it does not keep my iced water cold after an hour. I've compared it to an old one I had in which that one keeps the ice frozen for several hours.

I bought my 40oz bottle in January and have used it ever since (about 8 months). I clean it frequently because if I notice the water tastes slightly differently it freaks me out. Today while cleaning my bottle I noticed ORANGE SPOTS on the inside. I scrubbed it with a brush and it didn't come off. After taking some photos I came to the conclusion that it was RUST!! I have no idea how long I have been drinking rust for. I have only ever put water in my bottle so there is no way it somehow got stained by something else. This is unacceptable. I hope I don't get sick.

Worst water bottle in every way. Dented. Scratched. Rusted. Leaks. You have to tighten the cap SO tight to keep it from leaking, you might not be able to open it when you're thirsty. I'm so happy I did not pay full price. It's in the cabinet. In the back. Should be in the trash.

For the price I assumed it would be great quality. I have about 5 days with my Hydro Flask and I dropped it from 1-2 feet and it dented. It landed bottom first then it tipped over, so now it has 3 dents from that one fall. I've had a TAL water bottle and I've dropped it so many times in the span of 3 years and it wouldn't dent. The only reason I bought a hydro was because I liked that it had a straw mouth piece which was a more convenient access to drinking water. With the TAL I had to unscrew the mouth piece to drink water and screw it back to close it. I'm just disappointed, I had high hopes for the hydro flask:

I liked the bottle initially, but after a couple of months the interior coating developed rust. The bottle kept my water cool while working in the hot Middle Eastern sun during the summer, but the coating failure was disappointing - not a fan of drinking rust.

Dropped from about a foot and already dented. Thought it would be way more durable. Disappointed.

Doesn't keep water cool, doenst hold ice well at all

I ordered in early January and I was never informed it was cancelled. Until I called early February.

I have now had the fourth leak of coffee on my clothes in 4 hours. The lid design is AWFUL!!! It leaks constantly!!!! Yes, it keeps it hot for hours but who cares if you're wearing coffee on your clothes????

I received the Alpine 40oz wide mouth bottle for Christmas. As someone coming from cheaper bottles like TAL, I had high expectations for Hydroflask. The water most certainly does NOT stay cold for 24 hours, let alone even 12 hours, and the water tastes like metal. I am super disappointed; I am not sure if I received a dud or if Hydroflask just does not live up to the hype.

It does not insulate. Lots of condensation on outside of container after filling with ice water.

It has been over a month and I have no news of shipping. I am very disappointed in Hydroflask. Especially since they already charged me!!!

Was super excited when it came in but it Came dented :( not sure what to do but I mean the color is cute

I got this bottle for Christmas at my parents' house and was excited to drive the 10 hours home with hot tea yesterday. It's not a vacuum bottle! The skin of the bottle heated up (NOT supposed to happen with Vacuum bottles because there is not air between the layers to transfer the heat) and my tea was room temp in a couple hours. It was shipped and immediately wrapped for Christmas; it was not dropped or mishandled in any way!

The bottle leaks even with the cap tightly screwed on.

It's important for ALL of us to do our best to reduce waste, and this should be no exception. Instead, HydroFlask chooses cheap materials to put out into the world. After less than a year of use, the inside of my bottle is rusting. Waste of money. Thanks for using the cheapest stainless available. What's the point?

I'd love to give a good review but I can't. I bought this for my sister as a "would be " birthday present. It's been over a month and they haven't even shipped it yet.

Doesn't keep hot drinks warm even 4 hours I'm massively disappointed.

I bought a customized 32oz. bottle and was disappointed when the lid did not line up with the hydroflask emblem on the bottle. All the bottles you show online and the ones I see in stores are lined up.

I received it and it was wrapped in a bag and it was dented on the bottom.

I've had a hydro flask since before it was cool. It even had the old logo. Unfortunately, the new ones just can't live up to the original reputation. I sent this water bottle to my 18-year-old who promptly bumped it off of the picnic table. On the very first drop, the entire bottom split apart.

I bought this bottle recently and I was super excited I even decided to buy an extra cap!! BUT recently I dropped my bottle not even a foot off the ground and it dented badly!! This bottle is cheaply made and overpriced as well as overhyped!!!! I don't recommend this booboo product (thumbs down emoji) if y'all want pictures I'll be more than happy to make another review to show them!!!
