I really wanted to like this bottle. I did a lot of research on different types of water bottles before ultimately choosing hydroflask. I love the size, the fact that the cap covers where you drink from, and the wide handle that makes it easy to carry. However, the durability is just not there. The bottle is almost guaranteed to dent anytime it is dropped from waist high. I have several small dents from dropping it on my linoleum floor and two large dents from a waist high drop on concrete. I expected this to be much more durability and am worried that the damage will impact the insulation. I hope hydroflask can work on their durability and will look into something different for my next bottle.

Have used this bottle for a couple of months and the carry handle on it broke. it's a 32oz bottle, so I guess the rubber material for the handle wasn't strong enough for periodic use. My cup and lid are of high quality, but on this piece, the material is just breaking down, dry rotting, and breaking. Sad!
I would really like a replacement.

My small hands have a hard time holding this bottle and it's not easy to open. The floppy handle gives me no traction for screwing/unscrewing it. I wish the handle were hard plastic. But it does keep hot drinks hot.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have been using it daily. For the price, I am seriously disappointed. My water doesn't stay cold, at all. I add lots of ice cubes and they're gone within an hour. Also, the cover is horrible! It is so hard to open, it requires both hands and all my strength (I admit I'm out of shape). I tried not tightening it so much, and the bottle emptied in my bag. Finally, within the first week, there was a huge white scratch on the black finish, and I don't even remember doing anything to it.

The lid has a slight musty smell. Cleaning it, and the gasket with bleach did nothing. I suspect the silicone or plastic is out-gassing. This may seem inconsequential, but since it is so expensive this should have been considered when designing it.

I bought this a month ago and it's more or less adequate. It does hold water, yes. It holds ice up to a point, just not one I would prefer.

Good bottles. I have 2 others which are nice, but this one for some reason it has like weird taste, even after washing it multiple times.

My daughter convinced me to buy this. She has the same one, her's is white. Her hydro flask keeps ice frozen all night. Mine barely keeps ice frozen for two hours. We're in the same house, use the same water and same ice. I'm a bit disappointed. I really wanted to love it.

Although the flask works great, I purchased a cobalt color but the color is more navy NOT cobalt. That is the sole purpose of the low rating.

I received a HydroFlask as a gift. So afterwards, the cover starting leaving black particles in my water. The wonderful business sent me a new cover. It was working fine until recently, the clear rubber-type ring inside the cover came out and is now causing me issues to close and open the bottle. When I speak to someone during business hours, I feel confident that they will help me with this resolve this issue. This has been my experience in the past. Thank you for producing such a high quality product and I use on a daily basis.

I bought this about a month ago and it has been leaking since week one. I replaced the lid with a spare that I purchased thinking it may just be the lid but, unfortunately it continues to leak.
We are very pleased with our other flasks and have recently ordered more accessories but would like the Stone Wide Mouth replaced.

I bought this hydroflask to replace one I dropped. Then I dropped the new one almost immediately. When you dent them, it compromises their ability to heat and cool. I have no idea why HF doesn't make a full silicone sleeve.

I just recently purchased new my Hydro flask Bc I lost my old one. and I read some of the reviews about the new model that made me kind of worried, things like my water doesn't stay cold as long as the old model. So I was hesitant to purchase the new model. After using It for a few days I've noticed that those reviews were right. When I fill up my bottle in the morning with a fair amount of large Ice cubes they are almost completely melted by mid day. The water stays fairly cold still but the ice doesn't last like the old bottle. My opinion: hydro flask should've never "upgraded" the old model
ALSO this might just be my bottle but no matter what way I screw on the wide mouth lid it is always sideways, it seals just fine but it's just not straight.

I love hydro flask, I have like 6! I was excited to add a new color to my collection especially when I found out they were dishwasher safe but for some reason my ice melts even with cold water.

Honestly I love my Hydroflasks I own. This was the 3rd one and the only one in the new style. I don't like their necks. I wish it would go back to the old style personally. My stickers don't like to stick to the new curves

I bought one last summer and it helped me drink so much water, but it never really kept it cold. I thought I just ruined it because I put it in the dishwasher. It was really banged up cause I dropped it a lot so I decided to get a new one about 2 months ago. And it doesn't keep my water cold at all. I can put so much ice and an hour later it's lukewarm and gross. Maybe I just got a bad one but it claims to keep water cold for 24 hours and it doesn't even keep it cold for 1.

I have had my hydro flask for about 3 years now and I decided that I wanted to get a new one. So, while I was browsing the website I noticed the new colors. So clicked on the bottle but all of the old colors were gone, including the color that I had wanted to get my new hydro flask. I just think that when they put new colors in they should still keep the old colors.

this is my 2nd purchase, my other one was a 32 oz. it does a good job with keeping it cold. the only issue is the denting. it dents way too easy and for the price i think they should do something about it. also my waterbottle is making noises when i move it and it sounds like there's ice moving in it or something broke in it like a little ball, I checked when it was empty, nothing is in it so if anyone could get back to what that is id appreciate it!! my friends 40 oz also makes this noise

I am on my third bottle. They are thief magnets.
The bottle is great for keeping things cold or hot for hours.
However the powder coat scratches easily and don't even think about dropping it cause it'll look like a jalopy all dented and beat up which sucks for a bottle this pricey. Also its hard to hand wash - mouth is not wide enough. The straw lid, while convenient is a nightmare to clean. However the bottle is also dishwasher safe.

It looks nice and sturdy. It is a Christmas gift, that my daughter requested. She had one before she lost. Only thing it has a little mark on it, waiting to see if she is ok with that. Don't know if I can return it.

Got this several weeks ago and immediately washed it and filled up with ice and water, excited to see what the fuss was all about with this product. First hour or so did okay but my son had football practice so I filled it up a little more with water and a few more cubes because yes, it had already melted some in a hour. Went to practice and sat outside in say about 82 weather and immediately it started sweating which was pretty obvious because I live in SC(humity will take your hair from flat to frizzy in .8 seconds). My husband had filled his yeti rumbler up at the same time with the same amount(well his is smaller so as close as it could get). It sweat also but not near as bad. Drank out if it all during practice and got back home to eat supper and there was literally NO ice. The yeti, still almost full. So I thought, maybe the humity did it so I left it at that. Next morning, filled it back up with ice and water(more ice than water then put more water ads needed when I got low). About 6pm that night, half a cube left. Didn't go out to practice, just left my house for maybe a hour to go to the dog park and run errands. Maybe my seal is broken, I don't know but I am not very pleased with the product esp considering the price. Would love to hear if other people's products are doing the same. Really bummed out about it :/

I had bought the red 40 oz. hydro flask with high hopes that I would be able to utilize it for coffee on hunting trips and commercial fishing. Today was my first day out on the water with this and I was happy to see within the first hour my coffee was very hot but noticed my lid was very hot. I had a feeling all of the heat is escaping the lid, so going into the 3rd hour of fishing my coffee was warm. I am not sure if it's a faulty lid but it didn't meet my expectations when I'm out on the water for 9 hours.
Other than that I love it, it's great with cold drinks but be cautious of your hot drinks. 3/5 until I find a lid that will keep the heat in the bottle.

I have an wide mouth 40oz pacific bottle and after 4 uses it started to get rusty on the inside, this is weird because this bottle its supposed to be 18/8 stainless steel, i used the vinegar and baking soda methods and nothing, so at this price tag, this is very disappointing.

I've had this bottle for about a month now. I love it. Keeps water cold all day long. My only complaint is that rust has started forming on the inside of the bottle. I love using it but now I'm not sure I should continue use.
