I like the lid. its easy to drink from. My arm will get a workout lifting my 40oz all the time. I wish it came in other colors than black. It looks weird to have a black lid on a pink/yellow bottle.

I LOVE this lid! Anytime I've ever had a spill was when I forgot to close it. That being said, make sure you have all the pieces to reassemble it. I just lost the little rubber ring, and it's a sad sad day for my coffee drinks.

i dropped my hydroflask with the old coffee flip lid & it cracked. i saw this & bought it right away. super easy to use! not so easy to clean & i wish the sip hole was big enough for a straw especially since the weather is getting warmer. i don't like the hydroflask straw lids because the straws always break

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. It could be easier to twist off to clean.

I have a terrible time trying to get the 2 pieces apart to clean. I have a feeling it's because of the suction inside the cup. I love the cup and the lid is leak proof which I love also. I just wish it was easier to clean.

I got this lid about a month ago and overall I'm happy with it. My wife threw away the instructions for how to reassemble it the first time that I took it apart and, not going to lie, I struggled a little to put it back together, but once correctly assembled it seems to work very well.

The Flex Sip Lid and flask is built very durable and will function well on camping and everyday use. The lid screws on with little or no effort, very easy and secure. Attached to the lid is a short strap that will function well if you want to attach to a backpack or on a hook. The lid opening operates by rotating the top half of the lid. You will need to hold tightly the bottom of the lid while turning the top half. It's a secure method to protect the beverage from inadvertent spills yet I prefer the slide switch (close/open) lids that are easy to access. The benefit of the rotating Wide Flex is its ease to locate the sipping point versus the slide which you must look carefully or end up with a spill while drinking. This Flex Lid will deliver long lasting use as its construction materials are excellent. It will withstand tumbles and drops. In addition, its wide circumference will make it easy to use a scrubbing brush to clean the inside of the chamber. I filled the container with ice and beverage and after a couple hours, the beverage was held at a cold temperature; I also filled it with hot coffee and after a few hours, the beverage was almost as hot when first filled. The Wide Flex Lid will meet your expectations to keep beverages at your desired temperatures. An environmental plus especially when you can reuse rather than filling plastic bottles or plastic/foam cups. I give this product a 4-STAR Rating for its design, integrity and construction, yet I still prefer a slide switch opening for sipping.

I purchased the lid that website parameters indicated fit my hydro flask, yet it isn't a tight fit. Since the OEM lid self-destructed into smithereens, and I'm not inclined to purchase an entire new unit, I will live will the new ill-fitting lid. Such is life.

Sip Lid leaks. I have cleaned it multiple times. Still leaks. Customer Service indicates they will replace it. If the replacement leaks. I would not recommend because of that issue. It is easy too use so I hope this is a one off issue.

Lid leaks, even after tightening it. I generally like hydro flask but am disappointed with this lid. Gray color though

I have one of these that works perfectly. This particular lid that I ordered recently leaks badly. It seems loose. If you get a good one, they are great.

I love the idea of this, but mine leaks as I drink it. Seems to keep a good seal while closed, but I'm constantly having water drip down my shirt while drinking.

It works. Why is it necessary to have 4 pieces and require a YouTube tutorial to use a lid?

The lid seats properly about half the time. The other times it dribbles down your chin.

Loved the lid when i first got it. Of course after taking it apart to wash it causes it to leak. Not as easy to put back together as well.

The old flip top was easy to use one handed while on the road. This one is strictly two handed to open and close, so the only option while driving is to leave it open and my coffee doesn't stay as warm....too bad

It leaks, prefer the old model but the rubber broke down.

I bought two 40 oz hydroflasks with this lid about a year ago. I love the design and how easy they are to clean. Of all the lids, these have been the best for me in terms of how I like to drink my water. However, both lids leak excessively from the middle seam down my chin, onto my shirts, etc every time I drink out of them. They drip onto any surface my bottles may be laying on if they are not completely upright.

I live using my 40 oz hydro flask when working. The old flip lids handled being tossed around in my truck and never leaked. I was disappointed when I found out I couldn't get the flip lids anymore. I don't want to use the straw lids (hate having to replace the straws, seems a waste) so I bought this new lid. What a disappointment. It leaks any time it ia in its side. We bought two of them and they both leak. I'd rather have the flip lids back!

Drips, not as secure as you think, and less efficient than the normal wide lid

Love how it keeps my coffee hot ! HOWEVER, Lid is very hard to reassemble. I've had some men try to assemble it and they have also had difficulty.

I wanted to love this lid, but it is difficult to get water flow through the lid. It is difficult to find the balance to get flow.

For some reason I can never get these to work for me :(

I have two of these lids and love the easy usage, but they have started to smell funny and make my water taste funny. I always hand wash them and I soaked them in vinegar for a long time and then scrubed them and they still smell funny. Like I said I love these tops, but the smell and taste it gives my water is unbearable.

Just bought a 12oz wide mouth flask for my morning coffee and disappointed that the flex lid requires so muscular and intellectual effort. Maybe easier after the caffeine. Those with arthritis in their hands beware! New lid design aside, the coffee stays warm for hours.
