I bought three of the shirts in Navy, blue and red. I wore the navy shirt first. The shirt was comfortable and remained wrinkle free after a full day. The next day, I picked up the shirt for washing but quickly noticed that the colar was knotting and pealing. I returned to the store for exchange. A new shirt was ordered. I decided to wear the blue and by the end of the day, the colar was also beginning to peal. It was returned for exchange. I own numerous J&M shoes, belts and shirts and honestly the vintage slub polo shirts fail to meet my expectations. The quality is there but the material is subpar for J&M. The verdict is still out for the replacement shirts,

Great shirts at first but I experienced noticeable pilling around the collar area after just a few wearings - I assume this was caused by whiskers on my neck. I'm close shaven and not particularly "hairy" so I've concluded the material used for these shirts is inferior. Other brands using a similar-feeling fabric do not pill.

Bought 4 of these at airport for their softness and fit. Unfortunately All of them started to develop wholes at base of neck opening. Wont ever buy again.

Purchased two slub polos for my husband in 2016. After only the second time washing the polos in delicate cycle, taking them out of the dryer damp, the collars have pilled. Unfortunately the 90 day return date had passed. He now owns two slub polo shirts that cost over $100.00, that he only wears around the house. Not the quality I expected from Johnson & Murphy. Learned our lesson we will not purchase similar fabric from the store again.

Had 2 shirts that both pillowed after one wash. Shirt was washed on delicate and on low dry for about 10 minutes. Manager was very nice with exchanges but this shirt was not well made. Would not recommend to others.

I have worn this shirt 3 times and it is already pilling on the collar. I don't have a heavy beard and I shave daily so there's no excuse for the collar to be falling apart.

bought two of these shirts because they looked so good on the rack and even better after I tried them on. Took them home and withi in a week, yes maybe two wears, the fabric showed multiple pulls of threads in the fabric. Very poor fabric choice. The fabric has a nice colour, softness and look, but shows very poorly very quickly. Will not buy again. Contacted the company to complain and received no response. Typical. Thought they were different but they just lost a customer. My recommendation... don't buy unless you need something to polish the car with.
