I'm a cable tech and working in Colorado winter is no joke. I've never had a comfortable and sturdy working boots like this, besides all that these boots are incredible when it comes to keeping your feet worm.

I bought these boots for working outdoors in the winter. The boots fit perfectly and keep me warm. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great winter boots. Used for a week in Colorado winter. Warm, waterproof and great traction on snow and icy terrain. Boots are fairly heavy in weight though.

Boots are very comfortable from the start, and keeps my feet warm and dry ! In and out of muddy wet environment all day!

First of all, let me start with some reviewers claiming they do not run true to the size, they absolutely do! These guys figures it out better than Nike adidas or Puma, with these makers my sizes run from 9.5 all the way to 11. All merrell shoes I currently have ( 5 different models) are all size 10, and they all fit perfectly. I fell in love with merrell after my wife bought a pair for me 4 years ago. Super comfortable, I mean SUPER COMFORTABLE!! Your feet will thank you.

Not sure what it is about Merrell boots, but after a few days, the tread / outsole starts to loosen up and combined with the comfort bed insole... incredibly comfortable. The padded upper feels secure and adds extra stability. I have several pairs (mostly the tactical line) and zero complaints. Highly recommended.

Love these boots! The insulation makes them very warm, + they feel very sturdy. Lots of ankle/arch support, too.

I work construction and I hike. So keeping my feet protected and comfortable is a main concern for me. I primarily wear Merrill's' for hiking and day to day stuff for the comfort, now I'm wearing them 8 hours a day at work and my feet aren't aching afterward

Most comfortable break in of any boot i ve ever purchased. True to size and width. Tome will tell how they last, but if it is like my Moab hiking boot. Should last a long time

Loved the boots. Comfortable right out of the box. Prompt delivery. This is my third pair of a Merrill boot. Each for a specific purpose. All are serviceable today.

The hiker style high top and mid height boot are simply the best all around choice for comfort, reliability in all weather conditions, and stability afoot. After 39 years of trades work, wearing and field proving boots of any price range- these boots have proven themselves to be tops! They are lightweight and flexible for freedom of movement. They are mud, snow, and water proof. They are warm enough to keep your toes comfortable until single digit temperatures or colder arrive. Please do continue to manufacture this model without major design changes- as they are simply the proven best footwear that I have found for outdoor work/activities at any price.

Very comfortable, I'm a mechanic that's on my feet for hours on end. These boots have to be the most comfortable that I have worn.

Wear these Hiking in the Adirondack mountains and some smaller close to home and so far these boots have proven well worth the cost. Start making them in USA and you'd get an extra star!

Super comfortable boots. I'm in the gas field and I am tough on boots. These are great! Unfortunately had some stitching issues and the folks at Merrell were great to help me out. Highly recommend these to anyone in the construction field.

I ordered these boot because I have a shorter pair that I bought for a trip to Norway. They are wonderful boots. I have worn them during some of the coldest weather and my feet never get cold. The traction is amazing.

I just received my strongfields a week ago & so far so good this is the second pair of merrell boots ive owned the 1st pair was a hiker that i still wear today i absolutely love merrell boots & highly recommend them !!!

I'm very happy with my boots. I usually wear hikers, but my new job required safety toe and hikers with safety toe are hard to come by. I heard good things about Merrels and found these. I will be purchasing the uninsulated 6" for Summer as well.
