Bought these because they discontinued the boot I really liked. Very big and bulky. Didn't really like them. After one month of light use all the stitching fell apart. Horrible design and very poorly made

It is the worst thing I have bought on the internet, it says they are from work and it lasted only a month

I purchased these boots in the late winter of 2020, i.e. Feb, March. From the NE and work as a Lineman. I usually feel satisfied after purchasing Merrel products but this boot falls short of what I consider the Merrel norm. To start the boot isn't waterproof. The top of the boot where the tongue is sewn into the gusset is cloth!!! I suppose the idea was venting but water, mud, snow, etc all fall and lay on the top of boot where it collects. This cause the boot to literally soak from the tongue down. Why??? Doesn't make sense to have a waterproof boot with a cloth tongue and cloth vents at the lace points. Also I paid for these last year when they were almost 3 bills. Super excited to get them only to find the boot is EXTREMELY Bulky, the leather/synthetic on the boot seems soft and durability appears to be a long term issue. The boots are very light, I was pleased w the weight and the traction was top notch. The footbed and structure comfort were very nice. The lacing system was poorly designed, creates pinch points at ankle and foot flex point. Shame they put a bad boot on a great sole. Merrell needs to get back to what made them who they are. GTX BOOTS PLEASE!!!!

Only lasted for 2 months of work, now the rear heel is separated on both boots.

Wish I could get my money back, stitching tore out after two months of wearing these shoes. Do not buy.

They only lasted a few months before they ripped the stitching along the heel. I loved the boots for short time I had them I even liked the return / warranty availability. Unfortunately you did not have the same boat available so they sent a similar boat. It's just to light for the harsh winter we are having. So I can't give a good review.
