I borrowed my Brother-in-law's percolator on a camping trip earlier this year. We used it to make coffee, and boil water. It worked so well we bought one of our own.

Bought this to use when camping/off reading. Only issue was the spreader cover was missing when I bought it. Working on getting a new one. I has not deterred me from using it more then the drip coffee maker.

I got one of my kids this percolator for A year stay in India and one for me. Just made my first pot of coffee and wow just like old times and so much better than I remember. I'm embracing my empty nest with a warm embrace of java!

Love this for camping. Less waste than using a press and hot water.

I love my Stanley camp percolator! Made with good quality! And you see the little percolator perking the coffee through the little see through handle at the top of the percolator. And it percolates up to almost four cups of coffee regular 12 oz of course. Thank you Stanley for a wonderful job of manufacturing this percolator along with my other Stanley products.

The first time I used the percolator was January 9, the 49ers beat the Rams and secured a playoff spot. The second time I used it was January 16. The 49ers beat the Cowboys and advanced to the divisional playoffs. I used the percolator today (January 22). If the 49ers lose tonight I will change my rating from 5 stars to 1. In all seriousness, the percolator is great. It is easy to use and brews a very good cup of coffee with few. If any grounds.

I have now used this on a few different car camping adventures. It took some fiddling to get the proportions I needed but am very satisfied with the coffee I am able to brew. The percolator is also easy to clean and store. A great addition to my camp kitchen.

Probably don't need to make a full pot unless you are going to share. Really keeps the coffee warm through the workday and is easy to clean and maintain. I love this thing.

Just used it's for the first time today. Wonderful to not have to use two separate presses to fill up 2 large mugs.

I was looking for an easy way to make coffee while out camping and this fit the bill and we can also take it with us out to the duck blind. Keeps it hot and most importantly it is easy to clean!

Bought this to take camping with our family. Tried it at home first. Kept it hot for at least 4 hours between when it was made and when our daughter woke up.

This works great, you get the French press taste in an insulated press that keeps it warm.

I have used this both at home and outdoors. Best idea ever to have an insulated French press big enough for more than just 2x cups of joe.

Everyday coffee maker and it goes hunting, fishing, camping with me. It's even been to Kenya. This is the fourth or fifth press I've owned and far and away the best. For those that complain about grounds, it ain't the press. You're over filling, grounds to fine, something. It's a press, going to have some grounds, they all do. Thanks for a great product, just wish it was built in the U.S.

Ok so the only percolator that is 'all'' Stainless steel. It worked so well I bought one for my dorm room as the original one was my dads.

If you appreciate the subtleties of different tasting coffee beans then perc'ing is up your alley. I use small diameter burners which works perfect. The vertical design makes for more efficient heat transfer which was a surprise to me but makes sense when you think about a small burner and heat rising in a small column of water. More surface area beyond the burners reach requires heating by conducting. the concept of a peculator requires a column shaped apparatus. In addition, you can see when the brew is done via the see thru knob at top as the water goes from clear to dark. . I wish the handle was collapsable so it can be stored more efficiently but the handle is solid and firm. It looks and feels like something made in Northern Europe or German Engineered. The bottom line for me is my coffee tastes great every time. I usually a serving size of grounded bean in very small zip locks (half sandwich size). I find that percolating seems to give me about a 1.5 cups more coffee then my French press. I can get 6 solid cups with one cap full of beans.

Love it. I have the GSI java mill to manually grind up the beans, 2-3 rounds and I got a full pot of coffee with this press. It's pretty great. I have used it car camping as well as at home. Keeps the coffee hot long enough to drink it all.

Temp retention isn't as good as the bottles, but it's expected. Big capacity, no plastic.
