It does keep coffee hot for at least as long as I need it too. I have one minor complaint-the arrow on top of the lid is difficult to see in moderate to dim lighting especially if the surrounding stainless steel has water spots.

This French Press is great on cold mornings. I have used glass beakers in the past and they lose heat very quickly. Problem solved with the insulated carafe.

Overall we love the Stanley french press. It's the perfect size for us, well-constructed, and keeps our coffee warm. It also cleans well. The only negative was that we had to attach a 2nd, slightly-wider filter to prevent coffee grounds from ending up in our cups. Without that second filter, the plunger was too loose around the sides which allowed for coffee grounds to squeeze through. This is a design issue that could easily be fixed.

Not a 100% seal. Some grounds usually get through. But it's tough and looks like it'll last quite awhile.

It worked out. I know it is typical of a French press but a lot of grounds got through the sides. It was very easy to use and really kept the heat. I wish I could also heat the water in it as well. However, I went on a 8 day camping trip and used it everyday. I wouldn't got camping without it in the future.

I love this French press, I do wish that the filter was a better fit(had grinds getting through) but luckily I had a filter from a Bodum 52oz(same size) that allowed for double filtration so that my coffee grounds stay below the filter(just not a tight enough fit). Keeps coffee hot for 2 hours and warm for another 4. Highly recommend but do hope that they maybe add a second filter from factory, mind you I have a but grinder, and already use very coarse grounds... please Stanley, look into adding second filter

Well constructed and should last for years. One recommendation would be a tighter fit with the pressing screen.

Solid product, great colour. Needs two mesh filters. Dunno what Stanley is thinking

I bought this about 3 years ago I use it everyday but it leaks and a lot of the times when I'm pouring a cup of coffee I have to wipe the counter down I guess it's okay if you're going camping and I really do like it I just wish it wouldn't leak I also have their pour over system that one's never let me down

Cute aesthetic design but it's not keeping the coffee hot. I purchased this hoping I could make a jug of coffee and leave it on the counter all day and it would stay hot. Unfortunately it was Luke warm after about a hour. This is not a press I would rely on during a camping trip. Most reviews have commented that it keeps the coffee hot for a long time but that's not my experience. A little disappointing. Also, same experience as other reviewers regarding the filter.

It's big, it's beautiful...but it is terrible at keeping coffee grounds out of my coffee cup in the morning. I don't know if it's a design issue, or what the scoop is, but I am pretty disappointed in the coffee grounds issue.

It keeps coffee hot. not a fan of the unknown inside of the top or that the top doesn't seal. But its large volume is nice and it keeps coffee hot

I own several of Stanley from before and have noticed a quality decline since going to China to manufacture!

Good product. Watch the amount of water you put in. If you over fill the grounds mix with the water and you end up with grounds in the coffee. I've figured it out now, but was frustrating until I realized what was happening. Also it does not stay hot as long as I thought it would either.

Janky quality, lid doesn't fit well inside flimsy rim and hard to rotate. Insulated lid can't be cleaned inside small holes for handle rod. Overall dissatisfied with Stanley quality and design.

I was so excited for this - but READ the directions. Mine wouldn't push down so I put one hand on the lid to hold it down (over the spout) and forced it down which shot out boiling water and gave me a second degree burn on my arm. Thank god it got me and not my 5 year old, shirtless son next to me.

I thought the Stanley French Press would provide everything we were looking for but unfortunately we are very disappointed in the amount of coffee grinds that somehow slip through the seal around the press and end up in our coffee cups. I wonder if we got a defective Stanley French Press since it doesn't seem like others complain about this disappointing flaw?

This French press is large enough for me and my husband and keeps the coffee hot. It has one big drawback: so, so, so many grounds get through. I have used French presses for years and this is the only one I have had this issue with. We are finally caving and in the market to replace it with another brand :(

The screen and spring on the plunger appear to be a little bit too small as grounds like to escape. My wife has a harder time than me with this, but it's still pretty annoying. It also got a little ding pretty easily not psyched on the durability.
The size is awesome.

Great except for one critical flaw The filter screen is low quality and doesn't fit the press. Your coffee will always have grounds in it. Such a bummer!
