Finally hot coffee still even after four minutes of steeping. Got tired of glass french press that gets cold by the time it's ready.

Keeps our coffee hot but not for four hours, more like two. Also, the plunger on top can get pretty hot initially. Love the size and the amount of coffee we can get when it's full. And it looks awesome in our kitchen!

Works just as advertised. Makes great coffee, just like perked but can't burn and keeps it hot. Easy to clean.

I used this to replace a bodum vacuum insulated french press that had failed. The stanley holds 1/2 cup of grinds and 8 coffee cups of water (as measured with a drip coffee carafe). This Stanley french press kept the coffee at a drinkable temperature for 3.5 hours with a room temperature of 74.

This is the nicest French Press I own; and I have many. The quality of the construction is top notch and it does actually hold 48 ounces of water/coffee, which is bigger than most others. The only critique I have with it is the fact that there is only one screen on the plunger instead of 2 like most others come with. It would also be nice if it was shipped with a couple extra screens like many others I've purchased in the past. Other than that I think this press is well worth the money and would highly recommend it.

Great insulated French press that is handy for serving multiple people or a larger Stanley thermos. Easy cleanup and sturdy.

My husband and I both love it! Coffee tastes smoother and without the burnt taste you sometimes get with other coffee makers

Great heat retention with this French press but just a bit more sediment that some of my other ones. Overall I'm really happy with this one.

I own two Stanley French Presses. One for camping (green), one for the house (white). This is the highest quality French Press I could find, and makes great coffee. It is more expensive than other brands, but in my honest opinion is worth it.

Very nice product, but it arrived damaged so I am returning it. Also decided to go with ceramic lined instead of stainless steel. I do not like the metallic taste in my coffee.

Super excited about this! Makes our coffee warmer for longer. One flaw is that there isn't another stainer / slots at the pour spout, so we are getting some coffee grinds in our cups.

Keeps coffee hot and makes a larger amount than traditional, small French Press but requires careful measuring of coffee per 6oz water to get a good brew. Functions well; looks nice.

It's a good quality French press. It may be perfect for what other people look for, but doesn't exactly fit my needs of 10-15 ounces per use. If Stanley sold a 20 oz version of this I would buy it in a heartbeat. As it's, it's too large and too much cleaning when you only have any to brew for one person.

Works great! Only problem is the knob unscrews before the screen does. I used loctite thread lock on the knob and the is problem fixed.

Got tired of kids breaking my glass French press. This one DEFINITELY isn't breaking! Serves its purpose which for me is reuse of coffee grinds throughout the morning for weaker coffee after my first infusion. :)

We have been enjoying our new French Press. The reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is that I feel like the filter lets a little more through then our Bodum does. I don't know if it doesn't get as tight of a seal or the mesh isn't as fine? It does sound like a metal fragment is loose inside the double wall however it does not affect the function. We do LOVE how it keeps the coffee much hotter then the Bodum since its insulated. Overall its great and I would recommend it.

I bought this hoping it would be robust and last a long time. I'm tired of glass products breaking or stainless steel ones coming apart. So far it seems to be living up to that. I think the final bit that convinced me to get this was the lifetime guarantee. Three months in I'm pretty happy with it.
It keeps heat reasonably well, haven't paid much attention to how long it keeps heat because I've usually drank all the coffee/tea before any noticeable drop in temp.
My complaint is with the lid. If you slide the lid along the plunger it can let out an awful screech. It's noisy if the lid hits anything - being hollow it amplifies the sound. You can get around these by holding the top and bottom of the lid. One concern I have is there is no seal between the plunger and the hollow lid. If liquid gets into the lid it could spoil and leak into my coffee/tea. I'm careful when washing it to not get liquid inside. I think a seal here could be clunky and fail easily, so I understand the choice.
Ultimately I've been happy with it. Any problems I have with it are minor and I'd expect from other similar products. Similar products didn't seem to have the robustness of this one, which was primary in my decision process.

Pros: Keeps coffee hot, it's a great size for two people to have two large cups each. Cons: Screen doesn't work well and replacement parts would be awesome.
