Comfortable, good looking shoes with decent durability. First pair lasted about three years and were great, so got a replacement pair.

Having read a number of reviews, I was surprised to hear comments that the shoe was "thin" or lacked support. And many of the comments praised the shoe as a casual town shoe. I think these reviews miss the boat on this shoe. First, notice that it has 8 eyelets vs. the standard 4 or 5 that low rise hiking shoes often have. This should be a clue that this shoe can be cinched down to serve as a firm approach shoe on rocky trails or rock scrambling. It's low profile, non-bulky form factor actually makes it a very precise trail shoe. And even though it's not heavily cushioned (owing to the low profile) it has a fairly rigid outer sole to prevent rocks and roots from telegraphing through to your feet. And I find it plenty cushioned for day hiking. The design of the rigid sole has a precise edge which helps to grab rock ledges with confidence. The inner sole has a slight undulation under the toe joints which provide added support and comfort for your toes as you walk. The laces are very grippy which allows you to customize the fit of the shoe. If you have a high instep, you can loosen the laces in the instep area but then tighten them up at the top for support. If you are using them as an approach shoe for rock climbing, you can tighten the laces at the toe for more precision while scrambling. And yes, it is a good-looking town shoe also and you can loosen the laces a bit when not stressing the shoe on a trail. But this shoe is super versatile and comfortable. Hope they keep this one in the line up.

I have five pairs of Oboz and I haven't really worn any of them out. They all still are comfortable to wear! 1st pair is probably 4 years old.

I wanted this shoe for years. They look great and seemed perfect for me. I have tried them on in a 11 and a 12. The twelves were just a little too big and the 11s just a little too tight. Neither one slipped in the heel though when I tried them on. My local store NEVER has the 11.5 in stock. I finally ordered them when I saw the sale price. Unfortunately the heels slip. I have tried several different socks. I have tried lacing like a running shoe with the runners loop. The only way to keep them from slipping is to make them so tight that my foot falls asleep. Not sure what to do.

My husband wears his Bozeman Lows every day. The look of this shoe is just right for a stylish casual shoe with the comfort of a sneaker. I bought a second pair because he loves it so much. Theyre comfortable from all the walking weve done overseas as well- cobblestone streets, city walking, light hiking to rainy weather. I would love to see other colors like in a fawn or navy color. Good job and thanks!

So far I am happy with my new Bozeman Low Leather shoes. I needed to exchange the first pair for a wide, as I have wide feet. I was hoping for a bit more cushioning, though the shoes may loosen up after I wear them a few times. Overall, they are comfortable, especially in the toe box.

I suppose they have potential but theres not much to these shoes. Very thin soles. Not much support. Not sure what spot this holds for the consumer in the Oboz line up. I had to return these and ended up with Skype

Love all your boots/shoes. Oboz are all I wear these days. The regular style gives me extra room in the toe box and a secure fit in the heel. Im a 68 year old 5 miles a day walker so I really appreciate your products!

Super comfortable, well made, American shoes. The only wide shoes Ive found that actually give room and still feel snug. I can wear them all day and my feet dont hurt! Love the arch support!

I have Oboz hikers - the best fitting/cushioning/supporting hiker I've ever owned (save a pair of Fabiano's I use for most difficult trails). Been looking for similar qualities in a low casual and the Bozeman's are exactly what I needed. I found them to run large - I'm normally an 11 and a 10 1/2 wide was perfect. Well done Oboz!!.

Finally found a half-way decent pair of shoes that do not pinch my feet. If the toe box was slightly wider, on the wide version, the shoe would be perfect. Other than that, I would have given it 5 stars.
Looking at purchasing 2 more pairs in both colors.

I really like these shoes. Ive had several pairs of Oboz over the years and in general I really like the way they look, fit and perform. I was looking for a lighter weight version for travel and I think these will be perfect. Theyre not too bulky or heavy and they are stylish and very comfortable. My only criticism is that there is no loop on the tongue of the shoe to put the laces through and the tongue does shift around a bit. However, Im not planning to do any vigorous hiking in these so I think theyll be fine for what I need.
