The Bozeman Low Leathers are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. This is my third pair. Great comfort and solid support. Hardly needs any break in. Sheds water and keeps my feet dry. I'm happy with quality. Each pair has lasted about a year before the tread thins out with nearly everyday wear. As long as Oboz keeps making this shoe, I'll keep buying them.

I like the shoe very much as a medium hiker/walker. The color is supposed to be gray, but looks more like a pale blue which is maybe fine for a woman but a little too "pretty" for a man's shoe. I'll keep them and hope they look more gray after more use. They're very comfortable and work fine for what I intended.

I bought these to replace my 1st generation Oboz hiking shoes, which have about a million miles on them. Loved those, but love these new ones too. Even more comfortable, and better looking too.

I bought these for my husband. He liked them but they rubbed oddly on the side of his heel. He has narrow feet and heels. Comfort is more important to him than appearances, so these have to go back.

I always wear a U.S. size 11. Ordered size 11 and they were spot on. Style is nice and understated so they can be worn with jeans/chinos etc or with the right joggers. They are the low version of the regular boot but stand a little higher than your average low top. Unfortunately i had to return them. I quickly found an issue mentioned by another reviewer… when the forefoot flexes and creates a crease over the toe area (as almost all shoes do) the crease in these shoes put too much pressure on my right big toe. Didn’t occur on the left side. This probably wouldn’t be an issue with thinner leather (or mesh etc.), and may not be an issue for everyone, but was an instantly noticeable deal breaker for me. I’ve only encountered that issue a few times with other shoes (usually the ones with thick leather). When it happens it starts out as a minor annoyance and turns into a painful bruised feeling that keeps getting worse over the course of a few hours.

I normally need a 10.5 or 11, depending on the shoe. I ordered 10.5 for these and they were about a half size too long.
The width was good (my feet are a little wide). Roomy toe box. The heel was a bit loose.

a bit narrow for my foot....not really a medium. Well made, attractive and comfortable but will not work for me....long in the toe and narrow through-out

Sadly, I am here to write a not so great review. I really love the style of these shoes and the grip that they provide. Unfortunately, they are way too tight all around.
I ordered a wide (yes, wide) in my normal size. I don't need a wide, but I really like the extra room in the toe box. However, these shoes were tight in every direction even in the toe box. Length was good, but otherwise these shoes totally missed the mark.
Before my purchase, I checked the reviews and no one else made similar comments. Perhaps I got a bad pair? I don't know, but I will have to return them.

Once on, they were sneaker comfortable, but after long periods of use they became uncomfortable. The tongue kept sliding to the side and the number of eyelets and amount of lacing seemed too much . To me, looking down at the shoe they had an odd toe in appearance. I wanted them to work, but returned them. These are more sneaker than shoe.

This shoe, while it looked very good and possessed all of the apparent characteristics of a good shoe, turned out to be a total piece of garbage. The liner absolutely disintegrated within a month of wearing them. The plastic heel cup between the liner and leather snapped and became very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, after wearing them for about 2-3wks it also became obvious that the foot bed and insole caused my foot to rotate laterally so much that it became very uncomfortable. I have a very normal foot and walking gait so I don’t think my feet were the problem. I really wanted them to work out so I swapped the insole which helped a little. But in the end, the materials were poorly made. Can’t do much about that. Wish I was able to return them. Ended up switching to Lems Primal Pursuit mid length. I’m super happy with those!! Great quality. I’ve put them through some serious testing and they have proved very sturdy.

I purchased two pair of these hikers last year for travel with the intention of alternating them every other day. Though truly comfortable, the inside back wore prematurely within two weeks As this is not an LL Bean product, I contacted OBOZ to let them know of the issue. I gave away the more worn of the two pair and put the other in its box in my closet.

Didn't even last 6 months. Tread is terrible after walking the dog once or twice a day.

Squeak squeak…
I’ve had these shoes for over a month now. I wear them everyday, outside, on a variety of hard and rough surfaces. THEY WILL NOT STOP SQUEAKING! It’s the outer sole, not the inside. The material and sole pattern just squeak on hard smooth surfaces. You can here me wandering all through the grocery store. Squeak squeak squeak squeak…
It’s driving me nuts and have decided to go back to my old worn out shoes.
Pretty disappointed with this purchase.

I have a very high arch, and with my inserts, these fit like a glove. Comfortable without a doubt, and without sacrificing support. Size was true to form, and the 8-eyelet design allows me to set tightness perfectly up my foot. You can buy something else that's over advertised, but it won't fit, feel or last like a Bean. These replaced a 3-year-old pair of Bean "daily users".

Really torn. Literally. I loved the look and feel of these shoes. This was my first pair of Oboz, and I had heard good things about the brand. However, in under 3 months of moderate use (no hiking, average city walking) I had worn holes in the fabric heel on both shoes. I ended up returning them for a refund. Hopefully in the future they update the design to use a stronger material!
