I had high hopes for this one as It was the 6th pair of high tops I have tried in the last few weeks. I want arch support, soles that are pliable and can move with the foot, waterproof, stylish, and easy to put on. These were actually easier to get on than most others. I like the zipper on the side, though it seemed a bit stiff. They are lower than I anticipated, so not a whole load of support around the ankles. The material is pretty thin, canvas, but I could have lived with all of this had it not been for the extraordinary amount of squeakiness in the shoes when I walked in them. I mean...loud! My dream is to find a pair of ON's (I have 3 pairs of regular ones) that are high top but don't have soles which are so structured that it makes your foot forget that you are walking on Mother Earth.

I thought the shoes were cute and they fit well, but the cuff rubbed my ankle in a weird way. They go back!

These were SO cute, and I really wanted them to work. I ordered a half-size up, as suggested in other reviews, but they seemed a little too big. I didn't think a half-size smaller would be wide enough in the toe box, and these don't come in wide widths. The canvas was really stiff, particularly where the shoe creases over the toe when you flex your foot. It was uncomfortable. But the arch support was amazing. I'd try Taos shoes again, but this model wasn't for me!

Very uncomfortable. Kept trying to wear them but they hurt before I could leave the house. :(

Really like these shoes! Just the right casual look and extremely comfortable.

Due to injuries one foot is larger than the other. I bought these because of the long zipper and previous satisfaction of TAOS shoes and sandals. By adjusting the laces these fit both feet. After adjusting the laces I only need to use the zipper for putting them on & off. they are always ready to wear. The bonus is they feel great and look good too. TAOS carries several styles with adjustable Velcro straps allowing for a perfect fit for un-perfect feet.

This is my second purchase of these sneakers. They are super comfortable and fit is great.

Couple of reasons why I bought this shoe. This is my second pair. Have had 4 foot surgeries, the last two were ankle replacement surgeries. Because they have a zipper on one side it enables me to adjust the laces accordingly if my feet happen to swell. Second reason is because they are such an attractive shoe so I am not having to wear ugly old orthopedic shoes!!

My all-time favorite. LOVE that I can zip on and off. The arch support is great. I think they're young and cool-looking. I have these in every color. If they make more colors, I will buy more!

I wear a 9-1/2 but buy a 10 so was concerned if other felt these ran small that a 10 might not be large enough. But they are! Love the fit. Love the style. Toe box is great. Not narrow but more rounded. Great shoe!

love these. have them in two colors. 1/2 size up for comfort with socks and full size up for thick winter socks due to the arch insert. great support. comfortable.

Order a size larger! I'm usually a 10, and ordered a size 11. I held up the insoles to ones that fit inside size 10 shoes, and they pretty much matched. However, I can't complain because the insoles are amazing. I have custom insoles, and the ones inside the shoes look almost exactly the same. The heel in the shoe actually has more padding than the custom one, which is crazy.

Comfortable and stylish. Be sure to order half size larger than regular size. The insole is great and is comparable to the feel of my custom orthotics.

These work well for my foot (narrow heel, normal width forefoot). The laces ARE functional, so I can snug them up enough to fit well, then use the zipper for easy on and off. The sole is a little bit thin and hard, so I don't think these will be good for hours of walking, but good for everything else. I ordered the size I normally wear in athletic shoes and that was perfect.

Loved this shoe, but it did not have the narrow heel cup that the Star sneaker has and was too wide for me.

Totally comfortable right out of the box - and great style! I ordered 1/2 size up, as suggested, which was perfect. Will be ordering another pair of Taos soon!

I sized up in order to use my insoles. They get more comfortable with each time I wear them.

Loved the shoes and the look. Sizing was accurate and wide toe box is nice. Very updated version of a sneaker with great arch support. Unfortunately the cuff sewn around the ankle made a ridge in the back which hit my heel in the wrong place and would have required a great deal of break-in time or caused a bad blister.

Listen to the reviews and order a size larger! I'm usually a size 10, ordered a size 11, and when comparing the insoles with my custom orthotics that fit size 10 shoes, there was maybe a half-inch difference. Other than that, these shoes are amazing. Like I said earlier, I have custom orthotics and they look almost exactly the same to the insoles that these shoes have. These are the first pair of shoes in a long time that I haven't had to swap out the insoles for my fancy ones. I also love the zip feature, it makes it easy to just use them as slides if you need to bip outside for a sec without squashing the back of the shoe.

Best shoe ever! I teach and am on my feet all day and these are my favorites. I couldn’t find them last year in canvas and my old ones needed replaced. Glad I found them for this year! Love the side zipper and most of all the arch support.

I've had these for about a year. The zipper gets stuck sometimes and I have to really yank on them. Suede material has held up well. Really comfortable with good arch support.

These shoes are cute and comfy.
