I don’t like the top of these. Shoes at all they are not like my other 847

I was looking for a deep and wide toe box, but these were just too big fir my feet. I wear a 12 4E, but these shoes were too long and deep for my feet. I will go back to the Brooks Ghost.

The 847v4 was a perfect fit and I found it more comfortable than the v3 version as the toe width is larger and more forgiving. I would recommend to anyone who needs a good walking sneaker.

for 6x width, seems wider in the ball of the foot than 847v3. Also cloth in front is softer

I bought as a birthday gift he does not like the material,otherwise ok.

Too skinny for me.

These are listed on some websites as good shoes for custom orthotics. However, I found that they were too tight across the instep with the orthotics inserted.

Not a bad shoe, the toe box is roomy which is hard to find these days on a NB shoe. But on this one, the heel is actually too narrow (4E) if you need room there.

Been wearing 847’s for more than a decade. These were the worst version to date. Fit small, too heavy, stiff, not comfortable. Returned.

The shoe was narrower than my old 847 model. It also may have been a half size shorter.

Rounded toe on this shoe felt like my toes were swimming, while it seemed my usual size in NB came up short. Granted my width is AA, a challenge to fit and find shoes! Prefer the almond-shaped toe box as in 847v3 & 990s.

My PT recommended this shoe for the rollbar. I really tried to like it but ended up returning it. I usually wear a men's 9.5 4E, but my foot swam in the shoe. I returned it for a half size smaller, which was better, but still a bit too wide. My heel kept sliding out of the shoe, and it almost seemed like my heel sat higher than my toes in the shoe. The mesh was already bunching up with the first lace-up, and the lace holder was stiff and didn't move with the shoe. The insole was stiff and flimsy. Definitely would need an orthotic for comfort. Overall a miss. Went back to my Aasics Gel Kayano, which was a much better fit.

They were a bit clunky and the foam sole support wasn't as good as another version of New Balance's I bought in the past. The other NB sneakers I purchased did cost significantly more and the quality of the soles reflected the additional cost.

Bought for the SL 2 last and toe box. The toe box was very wide and I possibly could have gone for a standard fit and not the 2E. The issue came on the top of my foot and that area felt very tight and painful. I am not certain what exactly the issue is. Usually in shoes my main issue is trying to find an adequate toe box. These had that, but unfortunately there was too much side and top of foot pain for me to keep.

Again the 6E is so tight on my foot I can't wear all day...hate the mesh top or whatever...would prefer a Good leater shoe ...super wide... I can't be the only one like this.?

Felt a little small

These shoes are made for walking on pavement. The sole is made from a harder material than the running shoes I typically buy. I wish these had a little more arch support.

I ordered womens 12 B medium. I got 12 D which also said medium. I am wondering if they were mens sneakers? Too wide.

I have a wide foot. Throughout my life this has meant the more fashionable looking sneakers have been sadly out of reach, and the 837's are no exception. I had a pair in Gray/Red, and those look a little more passable as just looking like running shoes. However only the blacks were available and it gives a real Frankenstein Vibe. My last pair were comfy, and these seem to be so far too. But at $150 plus when all is said and done, they're no bargain. I'll probably get good use, but NB isn't doing the customer a lot of favors these days. I guess nobody is, when it comes to it.
