Overall fit was ok but the sides were to high for my ankles.

These shoes are heavy. They are a bit noisy when you walk but are comfortable. Because they are so noisy I would not buy them again

I have been wearing style 847 since version 1. The fit, with my orthotic, was perfect. This version 4 is very different, and not in a good way for me. The material on the upper part of the shoe is different, the fit is not as good, although larger or smaller would not be better. And I’ve found I cannot walk any distance comfortably in them - the support is not as good. Why could you not have left a good thing alone? And only 2 colors now, instead of 4.

This shoe gets points for the roomy toe box. Unfortunately it also has a seam where fabric meets leather in front which was very irritating. Fit was wider than usual. Loved the colors. Sadly, returning them.

Had a hard time fitting my inserts! And a little too small..............not true 10 & I always wear a 10 in NB. Fell too short!

The shoes that I received have very little support and cushioning. I have a pair of NB 840s that I love so I don’t know what happened with this particular pair of shoes. It’s like something is missing in the construction of the sole.

I tried wearing these for cardiac rehab, but after wearing them twice, my feet hurt so bad from my toes hitting the insides of the shoes that I had to wear something else.

I've worn New Balance for the last 10 or 15 years. I'm a true size 8 but always order 8.5 at NB. This time I am thoroughly disappointed. Even 8.5 is too small. I will have to exchange for size 9!

I was disappointed when I tried them on as they took longer to arrive then usual. I tried them on and the toe box was so wide and the length over all was at least 1/2 size too big! The Color was nice, but that doesn't help when I can't wear them. I only tried them on now I need to return them however, there is no return slip and I do not have the availability to print one.

The size and fit is okay but the shoe feels very stiff! The tongue doesn't have as much padding as I would like for my old feet but will do. Will definitely need inserts to soften the step. They are okay but nowhere near as comfortable as the Asics I had before but no longer carries my size. Keeping them but not impressed and wouldn't order them again,.

I’ve ordered New Balance for years. Always same size. This shoe was too short in the toe box. They are being sent back.

Runs narrow in the toe box and short in length. No depth, rubs the top of my toes. I ordered a larger size and larger width. Width was better but the top of the shoe pressed against my toes with every step and I couldn't stand the friction. Great support, but actually it must have been too much for me. After wearing the shoes for a few hours my left leg was really hurting, all the way up to my hip. The New Balance 928 is a more comfortable fit if you need a motion control shoe. New Balance quality has really gone down in recent years. I'm switching brands. I can no longer count on NB for consistent quality and sizing.

The shoes look nice but did not fit well. I ordered the same size as a previous pair of New Balance that fit well. These were too short in the toes. Another half size longer may have been better. I returned them.

Toe box was too wide. My feet would slide around the front of the shoe and was not stable.

Too narrow for my foot. I wish there was an option to have this in a wide width. I've been successful with Dansko sandals in the past.

The reason I returned this shoes was the deep depth of the toe and the width. Both together made the shoes too large for my foot. A narrower shoes would have been too narrow.

top ridge cuts into ankle area and not comfortable New Balance is so foolish. I have problem feet and this was one shoe I found I could wear but now they have discontinued it and after trying several new styles, I am going with another brand. For anyone who needs a wide toe box, try Brooks men's in D widsth.

Too short! My big toes rubbed the front of the shoe. I have to return them.

I have worn this model for years all through its various redesigns. This one does not fit at the size I have always worn. I am going to try another, larger size. I will give this shoe away, knowing it will fit someone who needs it.

These shoes are super cute but I bought them for my daughter (23) and she has worn them everyday (has only had them since about July) and the inside back of only the right shoe has already been worn through! I’m wondering if the quality is poor or if she just got a dud right shoe? She likes them but is starting to have pain due to the constant pressing of the inner plastic against her shin and will most likely be switching back to asics and getting rid of this pair. Such a shame!
