I first ordered this shoe in a 9N, too short. I reordered in a 9.5N and there was no additional room in the shoe length, if anything the left shoe felt shorter in length than the 9N. How could that be? I’ll reorder thinking that the shoe may have been mis-marked??

I really liked the look of this shoe and it seemed very comfortable. I tried it on and right back off. The large mesh area on the front sides and middle of the toe section left my foot feeling very unsecure. I have bilateral knee trouble. I need a shoe that keeps my whole foot from moving side to side. That much mesh left the front of my foot moving too much. It is a pretty shoe. Too bad but I'm going to go pick something else out on Zappos.

They dob't fit as well as my old pair which are are a 6M. These fell much no wider through the tow joint.

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for years because I need a narrow width. This style was too short. Ordered my usual size for an athletic shoe.

I had to return these shoes. The heel area felt narrow. I used to buy the 940 series, which I loved. I have ended up buying the 840 model, which I’ll be keeping.

I ordered extra wide this time to give it a try. It was definitely too wide! Also, they were not as comfortable in the foot bed as previous NB styles have been. I would like to try another size (not as wide).

Did not fit well.

My toes feel squished in these shoes more so than my last pair. The materiel is great and wish there were more colors in white to choose from.

10.5 Wide. Grrr. Another return. Thank you Zappos for easy returning. Your feet are your health, right? Gotta have happy feet. If you have normal toes, and seek stability and width, these shoes would probably be your best shoe ever. But I need more cushioning underfoot, as well as the nice width and high toe area. I thought these would be The Ones. Walked a lot around the apartment in them. After 2 other NB’s, this is the only NB I’ve tried this year (Jan-Feb, 2023) that accommodates my problem big toe. Plenty of room in toe area. Wiggle room. And nice and high for that problem big toe. Great arch support. And you feel like you’ve stepped into a caring shoe that says : “I will keep your feet and whole body properly aligned.” Very STABLE heel to wonderful arch. Nicely cushioned & very comfy around SIDES, and roomy in toe area. BUT, why so hard underfoot? I would exchange for a Medium width, as Wide not necessary for me, even with thick socks. Obviously, if you have bunions, then stick with WIDE. This shoe was designed by someone who understands the “New Balance” between support and comfort, BUT forgot to make inner sole SOFTER as well! The one MAJOR element for my particular feet: CUSHION under ball of foot. Is the heel higher, so putting more pressure on ball of foot? I do feel taller in them. Somehow, the shoe feels HARD, though flexible enough when I bend my foot. One of first things I check. But at $149, a bit much to pay for a shoe that feels hard and have to go out and buy something to insert. If don’t find anything else , I might have to settle for these:-( Meanwhile I have to RETURN these shoes, too.

I have had New Balance walking years past so thought I would give them a try again. They seem harder than I remember - feels like walking barefooted on the floor. I wanted them to work and have good memories of ones used in the past - perhaps my feet have undergone changes in the last 7 years. I know they make a good product and I like the toe room in them.

For years, the New Balance 847v3 was my go-to shoe. This v4 version doesn't work. The angle of the heel to toe puts too much weight on my toes, with too little cushion. In the absence of the 847v3, I'm finding the NB 860 a better fit.

I have other New Balance shoes in size 6.5 wide and this size has always fit perfectly. These shoes are too small and I am trying a 1/2 size bigger.

I've bought and had to return 3 pair of New Balance since this past summer. I keep trying but just can't find a style that fits my difficult, Narrow feet. NB has been my go-to athletic shoe for 30 years and now I feel lost! This pair, although the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my 4 toe's deformity (hammer toes) is too short for my big toe whivh hit the end of the shoe before I even stood in it. I couldn't walk across my floor. Grrrr. I need the rollbar feature for stability but just can't find the right fit in these anymore. I've been wearing Lowa Renegades exclusively since November of 21 but they're hardly suited to go to the gym. I'm very unhappy.

The fit is great. The shoes make a very noisy squeaky sound when walking on a hard floor. Don't like this. I was surprised to find that the laces stop before the usual higher spot, leaving a large tongue at the top. Didn't care for this. They also look wrinkled on the top of the foot as if had been worn. Am returning because of the squeaky sound.

Fit and support were good, the length of the shoe was a half size short. I ordered a half size larger than usual and hope to get the right fit.

Other reviews mentioned they run small. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and hoped the 6.5 would work, but it is just too small. It almost fits but is too short and too narrow. The toe box is quite flat too. Otherwise I would like the shoe but as it is I will have to return it.

Comfortable, but too cloddy looking for me.

They seem true to size but I just didn't like the fit. I am afraid if I go up a size that they will slip at the heel. Still trying to find the perfect shoe for my imperfect feet.
