I bought this after trying in a shop in Chicago for a pure casual use. The vest looks great and feels even better.
It's practically weightless so you can just tuck it in a bag or backpack and put on when it gets chillier - no wrinkles.

Perfect for 40-50 degrees F. I use it for jogging, walking the dog and whenever it's chilly. I live in Louisiana and rarely need the Atom LT hoody but the vest is perfect for the winter here. It can get a bit warm if you are running but overall it's the best vest I own. Pockets are perfect, especially the interior pocket. I initially had purchased the SL vest and then I wanted more pockets and I am very pleased with this vest.

This is simply a great all-round product for outdoor activities - super warm and light, but I also wear this to the office regularly as it looks great with a smart shirt and trousers!
The fitting is good too - as an ex-rugby player the large is perfect.

At first glance I thought this vest would be too light for me, considering I wanted to use it for rowing in 0-8degree (Celsius) weather. I proved myself wrong first time wearing it out. It is very warm, and I rarely overheat in it.

Love this vest the look and feel it is very versitile and can be worn alone or as mid layer in real cold weather it fits true to size and comes in various colors only concern is the collar seems to wear easily other than that great item as own several
Arcteryx items and always well made

Great for when the weather turns a bit chilly and you need an extra bit of warmth for your core but still have ventilation. The soft stretchy sides are great and keeps the cut slim and without bunching when moving while hiking/climbing.

After years of my wife telling me to try vests, I decided to buy this vest, and am very glad to have purchased it.
The size and thickness of this vest is perfect for Texas. I can wear it under other light jackets, for what are our "cold" days.
It's comfortable and fits well.
I'm 5' 9" and a large fit me, but was kind of bulky. The medium is a snug fit to the body, but works perfectly as a layerable piece.

There is no such thing as ethically sourced down. I have been searching for synthetic fill vest that looks good and keeps you warm for a long time.
This one does the trick without contributing to the savage cruelty that goes into the manufacture of down clothing.
Great job Arc'teryx please keep the cruelty free merch on your agenda. The world is changing.

Extremely satisfied with this vest. I use it all year round. For hunting, bc skiing, climbing and generally every outdoor activity For high output activities during late fall and winter season, it is a phenomenal garment to regulate body temperature, especially when combined with wool inner-layers. Great to have in camp when the evening sets in in the spring- and summertime.

I love Arc'teryx and I love this vest!
The quality is superb as ever and I love the way it just slides under your outer jacket when needed! Just sublime!

My 2nd Atom LT vest and one of my fall time favorites. Perfect for milder climates across a range of uses. I hike and run with it in the mountains in the summer, mid-layer while skiing in winter and also wear it to work regularly.

In my sport I need to keep warm without the bulk and this vest is perfect, it does not bunch up at the shoulders and gives plenty of room for movement, I brought an extra large and can fit two merino tops underneath which makes it really warm.

Another great arcteryx layer piece. I'm still learning how to use this, but on days I feel the atom LT will be too warm, this is my go to piece if I feel I might need some extra warmth. I do also like the vest more wearing it casually over the atom jacket.

Love this vest! It's comfy, also flattering - nice lines. Practical with zip pockets (that have crackly paper-like sound in pockets, weird but ok). Getting lots of wear this winter!

I'm a vest guy at work - always in and out of the car and people's homes in all kinds of weather. Consequently, heavy outerwear gets in the way. A vest and lighter jacket work great in cooler weather - keeping me warm but not too hot, and mobile without bulk. It makes a great midlayer when in the back country snowshoeing as well.

I was never a vest guy until I was given the Atom LT Vest as a gift and now it comes with me for nearly every activity -- beyond any bit of gear I have, it's the first thing that gets pulled out of the closet when packing for a trip or stuffed in my pack on the way to the mountain. It offers just the right amount of warmth and wind blockage to be my go-to outer layer for skinning up-hill or enjoying a chilly summer evening. For colder days at the ski hill, its perfect to regulate temperature between chilly mornings and warmer, sunnier afternoons. The best part about it is that for the amount of time I wear it for high-aerobic activities (and I'm a sweaty fella) it never takes on that nasty gear-stink that tends to permeate layers. In short, I love it.

I recently picked up the Atom Lt vest and am not disappointed. It's perfect for days when you need a little extra insulation but a full sleeved jacket would be too much. It's very light weight but warm ,I don't even notice I'm wearing it. The hand warmer pockets are fleece lined which is a nice feature.
It's very packable like smaller than a softball.
I wear it for casual use and hiking. I'm 6' 190# and a large fits perfectly.

I rarely find myself not either wearing this vest or having close to hand. It seems to me to be a perfect layer, providing core warmth without any bulk, happy as an outer layer or within a system, perfectly presentable on the mountain or a casual night out. The only conditions it is not ideal for is as an outer layer in rain, but I frequently wear it as my only mid layer under a jacket (and even my drysuit when paddling) and it's synthetic 'warm when wet' powers are super useful those scenarios. I have two in different colours!

I really like the functionality of this vest. Its great to be worn alone when its a little bit too cold to wear a long sleeve T. Or it can be worn underneath a light jacket to keep your core warm.

I love this vest and plan on buying another one soon. I wear it underneath my jacket on a cold day, or alone on a cool day. I can't say enough about it!

I had a Patagonia nano puff vest that got stolen from my pack on a climbing trip, so I decided to treat myself to something nice and got this awesome vest. It fits so well, and looks pretty sleek so I can wear it over work clothes to the office, but performs great in the outdoors- it also packs down well. I love the water resistance of the fabric so in a mist or if I spill tea on it it just slips right off and I'm still warm and dry.

This is by far my favorite vests of the several I own. Living in Southern California I often need just something light to keep my torso warm and this is perfect. I wear it under my raincoat on the colder, rainy days ( not to many of those in So Ca) and often around the house during the winter evenings when we don't want to turn the heat on but need a little extra layer. Easy to move in and looks great on.

I had one in black but got stolen couple of months ago. I went for a 3 weeks trip to Middle East and missed it so much that as soon as I came back bought one in Admiral colour and enjoy it even more then the black one I had. It makes my trips very easy since it comes handy in any situation and climate temperature. From the warmth of the day to chill of the night. It saved me so many times.
The cut is very good, not too loose so it looks sporty and elegant.
