This is the third pair of Encore Ice that I have purchased. The second pair didn't quite feel the same but was good enough. This pair? Merrill, you have disappointed me for the last time. The cushy part of this shoe is crap and because of that the shoe flops around in a way that is simply unsafe. These shoes are made for ice, right? Now, the slippery part is inside the shoe. You've lost one more customer with either trying to make more money by using cheaper materials or supply issues. I hope it's the latter, but either way bye, bye Merrill.

I'm disappointed with these. Ive been buying these shoes for years and have always loved them but this most recent pair aren't the same quality. Theyre killing my feet and im not used to that from Merrell shoes.

I love Merrels. Not this pair. I'm really disappointed. It feels like the inside is all leaning in the wrong positions. And hard hard hard. Not the usual comfort at all! :(

Not the normal quality I expect from Merrell, the faux fur along the top of the shoe is sparse in spots and not even. Looks like a reject from quality control. Very disappointed.

Shoe was probably a men’s size 8. Box said 8 Womens but they were way too big. Also, barely any shearling in the top of the shoe.

I returned these. They changed the product from a few years ago. I have a narrow foot & Merrell is my go to because they fit like glove. Not this time. Far too loose. The sheepskin fleece is thinner, felt cheaper. I had a pair from about 2016 in black leather & they were amazing. Start making those again & I'll buy 2 of every color so I don't have to live without them like I do now. I'm sad Merrell. Please reconsider the old model. Call 'em retro or classic or something & just charge more, idk, I'm not in marketing, just a suggestion. I'm sad. A dog ate one of the old pair I had for years. I bet it was delicious.

Luckily I still have the former version of the Ice Slide to wear. Tried this version in my normal size and was way too big. Downsized a half size but still too big. Way too wide. My foot slides all the way to the end of the toe box and hits the end of the shoe. These are made for very wide feet. The fur lining is some sort of nylon man made fur unlike the older versions and is very thin and cheap.
Merrell please bring back the former narrower style of this shoe that I've worn for 20 years and the former fur lining. If it costs more money whatever. I'd rather have warm real wool than synthetic cheap nylon. Until the shoes are hopefully redesigned I hope my older pairs of these shoes hang in there and go the distance.

If you have absolutely flat feet, these are the shoes for you! I wore them around the house and within 1 hour my feet were aching. I do not have a high arch... these have NO arch.

Please go back to the old fleece inside. The new one is too slippery for feet . They just don't fit as well as the ones from two years ago.

I've bought various versions of this Encore shoe (and Moabs too) for many years. Size now is unpredictable in both. This year's version did not fit and was not comfortable, so I sent them back. Also, I wanted a SMOOTH leather; and frankly, this pair just seemed a little more cheaply made than previous leather versions. I will need to try on all Merrells in the future, I guess, so I won't be able to order by mail. I really love this shoe and also the Moabs, so I will hope for the best... but now Merrells just aren't a sure thing like they used to be.

I excitedly opened my delivery today and this was my first impression taking the first shoe out of the box. If this is indicative of Merrell's quality control standards I won't be buying again. I can get this kind of quality at a much lower price point for a similar shoe. People pay more for quality not junk. Do better Merrell. Reading through some comments it seems your customers have spoken about your quality issues.

I loved the beautiful color in the feel of the interior. I normally wear an 8 1/2 to a 9. Imagine my surprise when I ordered an 8 and 1/2 and it's more than a half size too big. Now I have to pay to send it back. If they are going to have dubious sizing, they should at least include return labels.

I've been wearing size 7 Merrell shearling clogs for over 10 years. I am wearing my size7 right now. I usually order a new pair every 2 -3 years. I delegate my old ones for working around the farm. Three weeks ago I ordered a size 7. It was way to large ???? . I sent those back and ordered 6.5. Still too large. I put my old size 7 next to the size 6.5. They appeared to be the same length and width. As I was comparing the two I noticed how thick and dense the shearling was on my old size 7 shoe compared to the new size 6.5. What a difference! The thickness of the shearling in the new ones is pathetic. The footbed feels hard and stiff. The stingy amount of shearling doesn't cushion the soles of my feet. This explains why size 6.5 and 7 doesn't does not fit. Merrell has decreased the quality, amount and density of the shearling thus the size 6.5 and 7 shoes are too large. I can't order a 6 because the
the length would be too short causing my toes to jam in the front of the shoe. Sad to say that I will not be buying this shoe any more. Merrell ruined a good thing. Unfortunately customers pay more and more and get less and less.

They were true to size length wise, but too wide if you have a narrow foot. I have an old pair and they fit. I have to return unfortunately.

The insoles of this shoe bunch up and fall out when the shoe is removed.. I am disabled and need a shoe that can be slid on and off Because of the insoles falling out and bunching up it becomes a worthless shoe for me
