Not so great. The insoles keep bunching up and it is really irritating. Also I bought the dark blue and the dye came off on my toes for the first few months. They fit great and the support is good but the other two issues are enough to stop me from buying again

As soon as I took the shoes out of the box, the black insole fell right out of the left shoe. I am now trying to find a shoe repair shop to fix this defect so I can send them to the person i bought them for. This is upsetting and very unusual for a Merrell product. I have a pair that I absolutely love and have stood the test of time. I hope these will as well as soon as I get them fixed.

Too light and cheap compared to last pair I've worn very often.

The new Merrell's Encore Ice go to far up the top of the foot, and cut in near the front of the bend of the foot. Looks similar but its not the same. Merrell should go back to the old molds for these shoes!

Seemed like a nice shoe, however the two different pairs I had to return was a huge hassle and I didn't get to have them for the cold weather. Apparently they had a shipment of wrongly marked sizes, so both pairs were way too large for me. After that I returned them and then ordered Encore Nova 4 wide fit , which I love.

I have a pair of these shoes and love them. Bought them many years ago. When I saw these available I was so excited, so you can imagine my disappointment when they arrived and they were not made as well, so much so I immediately returned them. They were grey and a perfect color. The fur was not the same, very cheap, no support, overall was not worth the money. I would like to think one day this shoe will once again be what it once was. Unfortunately things seem to continue to get worse. By the way, looking at it even now the sole and look are the same. It is the internal makings that changed.

Comfortable shoes but fleece insert not glued in. Fleece and inside of shoe turned my feet and socks black. Ruined multiple pairs of socks. Bought beige pair & set black aside.

This is my fourth or fifth pair of Merrill encore ice slip-ons. And I'm completely disappointed. My earlier pairs, including the pair I was replacing, had a warm, snuggly feel to the shoe. No socks needed. The ones I just purchased don't begin to have the comfort or shearling snugness of its predecessors. It feels like there is less than 1/4 of the quantity of shearling. I'm a 7.5 in all of my earlier Encore Ice pairs, and I had to drop down a half size with this pair. The shearling lining feels so sparse/thin that socks are necessary . which is not what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in these Merrill's. They feel like a cheap version or knockoff of the shoe that I have loved for years.

I've been buying Encore Ice slides for years but the last pair I purchased this winter season don't come close to the same fit, quality or comfort as previous years offerings. Previous years the fit was supportive and the slide felt substantial. I ordered my normal size but the fit was too large and sloppy. Exchanged for half a size smaller and they still feel sloppy. More like a slipper than supportive footwear. The quality is clearly not there anymore and disappoints me as I loved these slides in the past.
