I will use these as bedroom slippers, they are still in the box. They are very comfortable.

Nice shoes. I like they way the look and fit and how easy they are to get on and off. But... they make my feet sweat and, therefore, when I take them off my feet are immediately cold! I wear socks with them, but that doesn't help. I think it's the faux fur lining. Since the whole point was to have a nice pair of warm house shoes, I'm rather disappointed though I will still keep them.

This is a great slipper. The thick sole keeps my feet well away from my cold floors. And the outer material wipes clean so easily. I would prefer the standard curly fleece usually present as a liner; this silkier lining is very flat, not as soft or fluffy and makes my foot slip a bit in the shoe.

I thought it was a beautiful shoe but it was incredibly enormous and thats the only reason I sent it back. I ordered a whole size smaller and they fit perfect.

I ordered the "shark grey" as there was no black in my size 8 1/2 and they are extremely comfortable and handy for slipping on and off in the colder months. The only reason that I only gave it 4 stars is because the colour is more dusty grape/purple, definitely not grey. Excellent product and fast service though.

Insert is flimsy but I love so much, II purchased a Merrell wool insert.
I need a shoe both that is stiff for my arthritis and this is perfect. I use it as a slipper since it is very difficult to find a slipper with a stiff bottom.

Merrell Encore Ice 4 leather - runs 1/2 size large. At first the width was a little tight but after a month of wear, the shearling compressed & now I can wear thicker socks. Not especially stylish, little clunky looking, I thought the leather appeared slightly more stylish. Great for easy on/off, cold weather, running errands, flurries, sprinkles but not for any depth of snow or downpour rain. Not perfect on ice but better than most boots or sneakers.

Almost perfect fit, true to size for the most part, feels great. However, the toe box is hard on long toes! I was sad to return these but knew they would not be comfortable.

Love these shoes to slide into and walk my dog. Wouldve given 5 stars except I had to use double sided tape to keep the footbed lining in place.

Soo comfy and warm, great for quickly slipping on & running errands. I wear these to the pool for my morning swims in winter, as well as to take out the trash, get the mail, etc. They are, however, about half a size larger than expected. I got 9W and usually wear a 9W in Merrell. However, I could have easily gotten by with a 8.5W I think. These slip around a bit, unless I wear really thick socks with them.

I have purchased 2 other pair of this model about 5 years ago and loved them. I recently purchased a replacement pair ensuring that I ordered the same size. Unfortunately they were quite big and had to return. I ordered a half size down and when I received them, they felt like the other pair (too long). So, the sizing seems to be off and inconsistent. Another thing that I noted is that the lining is much thinner than it used to be. Anyway, I decided to keep the current pair and wear thicker socks with them. I probably won't purchase again.

I've been wearing Merrell's Encore Ice for more than ten years and I agree with the many reviews here, pointing out that this year's model runs way too wide. For comparison's sake, I wear 8.5 Wide in New Balance 990. I ordered the Encore Ice 4 in my size (8.5) in the wide width -- as I've always done -- and it's huge! I'm making it work with a thick sock but it's hard to walk any distance because my foot is moving in the shoe. I ordered a second pair in a medium width, same size, and these fit perfectly. First time I've ever been able to wear a medium Merrell! So caveat emptor -- someone suggested in these reviews that Merrell must have used a men's shoe template to make the women's Encore 4. Could be...my wide Encore Ice is as wide as my husband's shoes... and my wide foot slides easily in the medium Encore Ice. THat said, LOVE this red shade!

These were extremely cushy and warm, and I'm glad Merrell's has finally started offering more wide shoes. They felt just wide enough, but a bit too sloppy in the heel. They were very stiff in the sole. I decided to transition to barefoot shoes instead so I returned them, but most customers will love them.

I purchased two other pairs of the Merrell Encore Ice 4 snow boots in the past. This year, since they were well worn, I tried to replace them with another well known brand, only to discover that they did not fit or give good foot support like the Merrel Encore Ice 4. I had to return the others and buy a pair of Merrell Encore Ice 4. I highly recommend this brand.

Look cute. Feel good. Inserts are worn out after 2 weeks of wear. Currently wearing socks no insert. I would purchase extras but there is no where to do so on the site.

They are so very comfortable that I wear them as bedroom slipper also. My doctor commented on my1st pair & I wasnt into commercial advertising mode! He bought two pair(one each for his daughter & wife) for Xmas!

I had planned to return the 8.5 Wide that I purchased; THEY WERE TO BIG for me. However, I have family members that moved into my home town because and were in need. They fit to of those family members very well. AND I don't have to see who fights for them, teehee.

I love my Navy Encore Ice although it does not look like the picture in color. It is a much duller blue. It is warm and comofortable. I have even ordered it in red.

These shoes are cute, comfortable, and versatile. They run true to size for Merrill, which for me is the same size as I take in Nike and 1/2 size bigger than I take in most other brands. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have a similar pair that are from Dansko (size 39), which are more comfortable. But the Merrell's are 2/3 the price.
