I usually wear a 9 but have had two pairs of this shoe in size 8. They are great for dog-walking in bear feets. The volume of this newer one is quite a bit larger than the previous two and it feels too big, so will return.

I was so excited to get these - they are cute, cozy, and have great arch support. I've owned a lot of Merrells and usually take my normal size, 6.5M. These, sadly, are a half size too big on my feet. So now I have to return for a 6, which is disappointing because I want to wear them NOW.

Finally!! The Shoes I’ve Been Looking For!! I have been ordering and returning shoes trying to find the right pair of shoes that are: 1. Comfortable 2. Wide Toe Box 3. Decent arch support 4. Easy to get on and off for quick trips These are amazing and warm! So happy I found these!

I usually wear an 8 in Merrells. Had to go down to a 7.5 in these. Very comfy and warm.

Love them so much. Comfortable and warm. I thought I need the wide but went with Medium, glad I did stay with the wide. They even give traction to the snow.

These shoes are my favorites for those cold winter days when you need warm and dry feet. They slip on effortlessly and give you support on your walks as well! I love their style and their fuzzy lining too. I wear them everywhere once the temperatures drop. They are a must have in the cold and damp winter days ahead!

I love Merrell shoes and the Merrell Encore Ice are my favorite winter shoes to wear around the house and to run quick errands. They're so comfortable! For many years, I've consistently ordered size 7.5. This year, though, the 7.5 was large on me, even with socks on. I'm disappointed as I was looking forward to getting a new pair, but the size 7 was sold out.

I have had a pair of these slippers for many years and got a new one because I wore out the snuggly lining. This pair is same size but feels looser in the heel and perhaps a bit longer. Still workable, but something changed.

good soles, leather finish will work for wet conditions like dishwashing.. however the historically great support of merrell’s is gone in this shoe. an 1/4 inch of flimsy microfiber fur is the insole instead of their great arched foam insikes of the past. i replaced the insole with an airbirds one i had and now the shoes are great. for a $130 shoe you woukd think they could soend a few cents for some foam in their insoles.

I have loved these Merrell shoes for many, many years, they are so comfortable and I can stand for hours without my feet aching, as a flight attendant for 30 years and now working where I also must stand all day. BUT, the quality is not as good as it was when I bought my first several pairs. The sheep's wool linings are not as good and pieces have peeled off the sides. Merrells, please bring back the great quality, even if you have to charge a bit more!

Love the pop of red for winter shoes. I was looking for something warm, comfy in a slip-on and Merrell's usually fill the bill. These have a fluffy faux fur lining and feel great - especially with my mild plantar fasciitis. I would prefer a full heel on the back but that obviously didn't stop me! These are keepers!

I’ve bought this same shoe two other times. This pair has mess substantial fleece. Not as rich feeling as the last two pairs.

I have bought these shoes for many years and suddenly the sizing is different. I have always been a size 10 and now that is too big.

I ordered my usual size 8,but these measure about 1 inch longer than my other pair of encore ice so I returned them. Otherwise they are a beautiful color and would've been just what I wanted.

I bought these in my size (11) and they were very large. Then I ordered them a half size smaller and they were still too large (and too wide). They were clunky on my feet, and somewhat heavy, and I lost interest in them after trying the 2nd pair. Otherwise they seemed warm with good support.

These were very long to the point where I was tripping over them! I usually take an 8.5 - 9. Ordered the 9 because of my high instep. The width was fine so I think a smaller size wouldn’t have worked. The footbed was hard and they felt heavy and clunky. Mt feet looked huge! After wearing them around the house for a full day my feet were killing me. I am returning them.

I really wanted to love these shoes. They not only appeared ruggedly attractive but seemed to offer an easy way to run outside in the rain for the newspaper or to jump in the car to drive the kids to soccer practice. And indeed, upon opening the box, the shoes were attractive and appeared to be well made. Sadly, the first thing I noticed was that the thin faux-fur footbed liners weren't affixed to the footbed of either shoe. Both liners stuck to my feet when I toed the shoes off and they had to be carefully re-inserted before putting them back on which pretty much destroyed my only reason for buying them. They were supposed to be "easy" to put on. Because they were loose, the cheap liners also bunched up inside the toe box while walking - another death knell. I ended up having to glue the liners to the bed of each shoe. Obviously, at this point I really should've returned them, but as stated above, I really wanted to love them. After all this hassle, it turned out the dam* shoes were too narrow in the toe box and rubbed against my little toe so much that my foot hurt long after removing them. Lessons learned: 1) Don't impulsively buy a pair of shoes because you saw them online one night when you were bored and thought they were cute. 2) Look before you leap: if you can't physically try the shoes on, do some research, read a couple of reviews. 3) Trying to fix defective new shoes with super glue is just plain stupid. Yep, that's on me.

Loved the older version. This one is cheap looking and not sized well.

I have to agree with other reviewers. Shoes are huge and not as plush as they used to be. I’ve owned several pairs in the past. But this is Merrell’s fault, not Zappos. Won’t be buying anymore of this style.
