I have worn Merril boots for a long time. However the lacing system has changed from eyelets all the way to just having them on the top 2. The system of using the cloth sleeves does not work as they wear out. I miss the old system. I'm sadly not buying Merrills any more.

I've been purchasing Merrell hikers for years however with the pandemic this was my first purchase online with them. I have always been a size 6 however when I received these in the post they were way too small. By the time I went back online to order a 6.5 they were sold out. I tried a 6.5 in a different style and those were too big. With refunds taking up to 20 days to process as they note on their site - I am hesitant to order more product online. I purchased these Jan 8th, dropped them off the next day for shipping back and am still waiting for a refund. Love the product normally but will have to wait until life re-opens to support them as I can't keep buying styles and waiting almost a month for refunds.

They fit small and the inside of the shoe is curved.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me, but in the right boot, it felt like there was a rock under the back inside part of the heel. You couldn't really feel it with your finger but when it was on my foot it was bad.
