Merrell's have been my go to for decades, and these waterproof leather boots are so light, I was sure I would love them. But they are much roomier in the toe than fits my narrow-ish feet, and the soft, firm, fit I am used to from Merrell's is not there. Don't know if the boots have changed or my feet.

This is a nice looking shoe and well made as far as fabric and stitching goes but the sizing is off. I've been buying Merrels in a 9 1/2 for years and never had issues with the size or had to 'break them in' . I put these on and went for a walk and after a 1.5 km walk my toes were sore because these shoes were too short. I should've returned them but I'd already been outside with them. The width for me was good. I have a long narrow foot and size 10's in any brand are too wide which is why I buy 9 1/2. These fit like a size 9.

This is a quality, well made hiker! It is too tight for me. It feels like a med width. I normally wear a women's 6.5 W; sometimes a size 6W. This boot was still too tight in a size 7W. I really wanted to wear it, but even after a few minutes in the house, I had to admit it just is not going to allow my toes the width they need.

I have been looking for a pair of hiking boots to replace my New Balance Style 1400 boots that are a perfect fit but no longer available. This is the 5th pair/brand I have tried and I have had the same issue with the toe box on all of them -- it is too narrow even though I ordered the wide width. I wear a size 8 wide and so far New Balance was the only boot that was a good fit. So far I have tried LLBean, Columbia, Orthofeet, New Balance (different style), and now Merrell. I'm giving up my search for now, but would appreciate any recommendations others may have for a good fitting hiking boot.

I bought these a few weeks ago to replace my beloved previous pair of Merrell Siren Traveller Q2 hiking boots, and the fit is nearly identical so they feel familiar and comfortable. I purchased a 1/2 size up to match the sizing of my last pair and they fit perfectly. That's where the similarities end. These boots are SO HOT and my feet just can't breathe. I've tried them with three different pairs of socks, and each time my feet feel like they are on fire. After my first two hikes in them (~10 miles each), I developed an itchy rash on the tops of both feet. I thought I might be allergic to something in them, but now I think it might have been heat rash. My last pair was non-waterproof, but that no longer seems to be an option. Please make a non-waterproof version of these boots again so my feet can breathe! I bought these in preparation for a big international hiking trip this fall, and now I think I'll need to find a better option.

I really wish the sizing had worked out on these! I'm usually a size 6W; but 6W, 6.5W, and 7W were all too small. I think part of the issue is the back of the shoe presses the ankle and foot forward, so my toes felt squished and I couldn't get my heel to sit in the right spot. Otherwise, they look really nice and feel like they would hold up well. The Zappos Customer Service team was so helpful with the size exchanges.

These fit my lean medium foot beautifully. I always half-size up with hiking and running shoes, so the 10 fit nicely with ample, but not generous, space in front of my toes. The toe box was a perfect fit for me with a bit of room all around, but could imagine a meatier foot would be against the insides of the box. The support my ankle well and do okay for the arch--innersole is removable for orthotic if necessary. All that's pretty great, but Merrell missed it on the comfort. There is minimal padding on the ankle and a minuscule amount in the innersole. Feeling the creases of the shoe's shaft against ankle bones is not comfortable at all, and neither is the 1/8" thick, low to medium density, foam innersole. Very Disappointing.

Sorry, but they are too shallow in toe box and the back of the boot pressed on my achilles tendon.

I really wanted to like these. They are very light and cute (for hiking boots) but they just squish my toes too much so I decided to return them.

I typically love Merrell footwear, but not these. They felt a half-size too small and very narrow. They're also very stiff and would require breaking in before wearing them any distance. Not comfortable either. Not sure how to describe it, but it feels like the shoe narrows on both sides of my arch. Very uncomfortable.

fit was small for my regular size. Merrel usually fit me correctly. This shoe runs small. I didnt like the fit. I didnt like the sole. Too thin for a winter shoe

I want to start out by saying, I love Merrell hiking boots. But I bought my wife a pair for Christmas, had to return because they were a bit small and received boots that were worn and scuffed. It didn't matter to her and loves them, but I was a little perturbed. She kept them and we will purchase again.

Although marketed as such, the Siren Traveller 3 Wide Width simply isn't. It is far too narrow. I have the Moab 3 Wide. They are comfortable and widevery different. Both are made by Merrell so I don't know why the difference between the two is so pronounced.

I was beyond excited with these boots, until today. I have been wearing them without any problems, nor wet toes. Until today. Today, my feet became soaked when walking across the rain wet grass. Not in a stream nor puddle, just wet grass. I am very sad that the "waterproof" only lasted a few months.

Not as comfortable as I had hoped. Using for hiking in Colorado. My right foot feels like it is broken by an hour in. Switched to my tennis shoes and it's much better. My daughter and husband bought different merrell hiking boots and they say they are the most comfortable shoe they have ever worn. Bummer for me.

Mine were bought at the end of last winter and I thought the soreness and stiffness would get better. I have worn them a hard full of times and it's just as bad. Too late for a refund or return. They are sized right, but my toes on the right size feel cramped, got blisters under the right side as well. Sore knees as well. Not the hiker for me! I was so disappointed, as I heard Merrell hikers were great.
