I normally wear an 8-8.5 and these shoes in an 8.5 were definitely too small with thin wool socks. They also feel a bit narrow, and I know that once I walk in them for awhile and my feet swell, especially in the summer, they will be too tight. It's disappointing, because they seem well made, the color is lovely, and the tread is good.

I have been buying Merrell's for years so was really surprised when these did not fit true to size. It was half to full size smaller! Even with the small fit the width was too wide so I won't be doing an exchange on these.

Within a month, my socks were damp. All I want is a pair of support shoes/sneakers that will keep my feet dry when walking the dog in wet grass! I have tried so many different brands and they are all the same.

I wanted to love these shoes - loved the color and style, but very narrow, could barely slide my foot in. Definitely cannot handle orthotics.

After wearing Merrell brand for years, I’ve had to size up a half size in pretty much all their shoes and boots. And it seems that their waterproof shoes and boots fit tighter than non waterproof. These were the first Merrells that hurt my feet after walking for awhile. After a year of wear, (and I don’t wear them from November to March or April,) they are ripping and the sole has almost worn smooth. I don’t walk on paved roads that much, so I don’t understand how walking on gravel and through the fields and woods would wear them out so quickly.

I was so disappointed when I got these and tried them on. They do not fit like the old Sirens that I used to have. I don't recommend this style if prefer wide width as the wide fit on this style is not wide at all. The toe box should be more square to fit the natural shape of the toes but instead the toe box is oval and about as wide as the rest of the shoe. I also found the material stiff and there is a lot more padding around the heel which makes the shoe feel more bulky.

I was really hoping these would work but they are going back. Very tight and uncomfortable walking in.

Tried on 8W and felt a full size narrower than other brands. Length felt about 1/2 size shorter and did not give sufficient length. Arch support would have been awkward for my foot had the shoe fit well anways.

The fit and size were good. They shoes are just not very comfortable compared to the Antora 2.

I normally wear size 9, but go up half a size for walking, but that hasn't worked lately. Went up to 10, and still narrow as the curve of the footbed towards the toes, push the toes together adding pressure. Length is ok, with some room, but too narrow for long comfortable walking.

Hard to rate overall. I have at least 30 pairs of Merrell's and for the last two years suddenly can't get sizes to fit. I have an old pair of these Siren Sport and they were comfortable, very warm for winter and I loved them. My feet have grown again and I wanted a larger size but these ended up being smaller than my old pair instead of larger. I was going from the 9-1/2 I had to a 10-1/2 and they don't fit. Hate having to find another brand!

Way to narrow I ordered a 1/2 size up from my regular size and a wide, but it still was to tight.

Oh, dear, thinking a trip to Colorado Spring 2022 and wanted to break in a pair of sturdier walking shoes than I normally wear in the flat trails of Missouri. I could not even THINK of wearing socks in my normal 9.5 "B" width of these Merrells! Nor do I want to go up to what I think would be a 10 "Wide". Drat, Merrell, you fiddled with perfection and you are losing a customer! Returned!

I wish Zappos had a better return policy. I shop on Amazon all the time & will continue to.. it is hassle free. When I have to return something as soon as it is scanned at a return location or UPS I get a full refund as a prime member. I don’t have to wait for them to receive the return as they already know and are guaranteed the item is on its way back to them. Just saying! Need to improve on this!

I have several pairs of Merrill shoes but these fit completely different. I had to send them back because they were extremely tight yet made my foot look very wide.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever tried on! Maybe that’s going to far, they don’t fit. I’ve worn the same size Merrill’s forever but these blatantly pinch either side of the toe box area. They have a cute rounded shape at the toes but it’s surprising, my normal size is usually roomy enough. For a second I thought they were maybe supposed to be climbing shoes and intended to be so intensely fitted. These also have no real cushioning. I guess my bad for selecting a trail runner. I was hoping for a bit more cushion so maybe should have looked for a cross trainer instead. I am not a doe aficionado or anything so this selection process is tedious. I know what I want and these didn’t hit the mark.

This did not feel at all like a wide. Have to return. Otherwise great shoe.
