I was thrilled to see the Siren Sport again while shopping for some low hikers. I had a pair of the regular siren sport back in 2008 (?) and they were great. I decided to try the waterproof since winter is upon us and I am wanting to use these as walking shoes for my daily walks no matter the weather. The brindle / tea is pretty basic- nothing fun about these colors but these shoes will do the job- I don't mind them but I think some of the classic siren sport colors need to come back. When I first put these on there was a crinkly noise coming from one of the shoes- but after sweating in them a bit the noise died down- assuming it's the waterproof liner inside the shoe. I wear a 7 Danner boot, 7.5 On Cloud, 7 Salomon, 8 New Balance Minimus, and I ordered a 7.5 in this shoe based on previous reviews. The fit was tight in my thicker Darn Tough boot socks but spot on in my medium weight Darn Tough socks.

I typically wear a 9 1/2 N in shoes and a 10 in athletic shoes. My feet are narrow and low volume. This shoe probably fits true to size, because it was a little roomy for me. There also isn't much arch support. I removed the insoles and replaced them with Superfeet inserts and they fit much better now. The shoe is comfortable, but more flexible than sturdy and can feel the ground through the base a little more than I would like. I will keep them, not because they are perfect, but because they are the best fit I could find for my narrow feet.

I was so looking forward to these new shoes....I buy the same pair every year. Unfortunately something in the design and fit has changed . Just not as comfortable as previously. I hate when a company changes a product.

I kept them because they were comfortable and I wanted a waterproof shoes. ( Haven't had a chance to see if they are yet.) They do run a little small. I'll have to wear a thinner type of sock with them. If you're thinking of wearing them with thick socks you may have to order a whole size bigger. Wish I would have gone up a half size bigger.

These are excellent walking and hiking shoes. This was a replacement for completely warn out Merrill’s. So glad the same style was available and in a great color. Support is awesome. Very comfortable!

Too narrow but love the shoe. Going to try a half size larger and wide width and hopefully that will work. Have good luck usually with Merrell's for comfort.

I have a similar style to this that’s about 12 yrs old and still in great shape, but they’re not waterproof, and I really wanted a waterproof option. Too bad these were stiff out of the box and felt almost 1/2 size too small. I know a 9 would be way too big, so I’ll return and continue my search for an updated waterproof style.

Have worn Merrell Sport Siren for years. Now as I grow older, my feet have developed hammer toes and moving to a wider shoe has helped. The shoes are always comfortable.

I am a 9 or 9.5 in shoes and have a great pair of Merrell winter walking boots that are 9.5 and fit perfectly. I do wear a 10 in sneakers. I would have easily needed a 10.5 in these. The only reason for the overall 3 star review is they were nice looking and they are Merrells so they seem well made.

Based on reviews that said they tend to run small, I ordered a 9.5W as well as my usual size 9W. The 9W fit perfectly and feel great. The style is just what I was looking for - combining the feel of sneaker with a light hiking shoe. The brindle/tea color is very attractive and looks great with jeans and hiking pants. I am very pleased with these shoes. So glad the offer them in a wide width.

I tried them on at home and did walk around for a few minutes. Everything felt right about the size, support and fit that I decided to wear them straight away the next day. I found them to be extremely comfortable and supportive. I had no irritation or rubbing even after 10 hour day in them.

These run small, I think a lot of Merrell’s run small. I’m a size 9.5 or 10 depending on the shoe. A size 10 in these was way too short. The sole felt very thin and hard. The forefoot had no cushioning. Very uncomfortable to me. I ordered a pair from Salomon in 9.5 and love them.

I wear a 7 or 7.5 W but needed an 8 W in this shoe. I have high arches so I'm not feeling the arch support at all. But, Siren Sports are a shoe I have purchased and worn many times in the past (though without the waterproof feature) and they are one of the better hiking shoes I've owned over the years. The width could be wider, guessing it's a C rather than D width, but overall I'm happy with the shoes.

I really do love the shoes. I just had to put an insert in because the arch support is minimal. It’s great that they are waterproof and yet they still breathe. Thank you Zappos for making shopping so easy

I'm so disappointed in these shoes. Should be perfect but they are much smaller than other Merrells I've worn and not at all comfortable.

The fit was okay. I think it was the look of the shoe and since it wasn't close enough to what I was looking for I made the decision to return the pair. However, I would not discourage anyone from buying them. Overall it's a good shoe.

I have worn Merrill’s as my go-to fav brand for years. I am a standard size 9 in most brands but have always worn a 9.5 in Merrill. This model is extremely small and uncomfortable. I got a 9.5 and felt like I crammed my foot into an 8.5. The style was lovely if you just want to look at it. Sad.

In an effort to find the perfect waterproof shoes for an upcoming Camino adventure, I had to go through several pairs incurring several painful experiences along the way that was until I found this most appreciated shoe. My feet have already put 100 miles on them and they have not initiated any blisters, lost toenails...I HIGHLY recommend them.

Amazing shoe, so glad I ordered these. I had heard that Merrell's quality went downhill since I last bought my previous hiking shoes from them back in 2011 but I am happy to report that was not the case - these are amazing shoes all around!
