These are very comfortable for 3 season wear Replaced insole with a thin Powerstep insole which took up the slightly extra room in the wide size. Wore them several hours right out of the box.

Perfect for trip I took to Iceland in December. I usually wear an 8.5 but decided to go with a 9 since I would be wearing a thin base sock with heavy wool sock. Worked great. I wore in rain, snow and sun. Didn't need to put on winter boots I brought on trip because these kept my feet dry. Great traction on soles.

I ordered the 9 1/2 wide and medium. Kept the Wide. The 9 1/2 fit but I wanted more room for thicker socks. I have a wide foot, narrow heel and and high arches. Walked steep, slick, rooted and rocky trails and some snow in Oregon and never missed a step. I would buy again

Shoes keep my feet warm while out walking the dog on chilly days. The extra grip will be great in snowy and icy conditions. They felt broken in the first time I wore them out.

it fit like a glove. I am on cement floors all day long at work and put these to the test yesterday and they were very comfortable all day long.

I've only had these a few days but want to make a comment about size. I am usually a 9 in regular shoes and a 9.5 in running shoes, but I had to size up to a 10 in these, particularly since I plan to wear them with thick winter socks. I had a pair of non-waterproof Siren Sports years ago and loved them, so I hope these live up to my past experience. They are comfortable right out of the box with a firm Vibram sole. They are really nice-looking with the criss-cross detailing and make my feet look small! I plan to wear these to walk the dog and take moderate hikes in cool, damp weather. I hope they hold up and keep my feet try and toasty.

I love the look of this shoe and the rugged non-slip sole. I wear 6.5-7 and had to have a 7 for these. They fit my feet snugly and I feel they have good support. These are replacing my summer cross trainer shoes, and they do not have the comfy insole of a sneaker; the bottoms are harder. I have taken two walks in wet weather and both times the tops of my socks have received moisture, so I am not convinced that they are “waterproof “. Kind of pricey for damp socks.

The problem is not the product, it is my foot that is the problem. I am having medical issues at this time.

This shoe felt true to size and was comfortable from the first wearing. The laces tie easily and stay tied, even during strenuous activity. I really like the rounded toe and overall compact look of the shoe style.

I like the shoes. I ordered a size 7, my usual size, but they fit like a 6 1/2. I'm going to exchange them for a 7 1/2 then see how I like them.

I purchased this shoe for the first time about 5 years ago. Now it was time to replace. I normally wear a 10. Bit went up to an 11 in these. Allows for a heavier sock and a supportive insole. Well made. I wanted something waterproof for inclement winter weather. They have a firm sole which works well for me. Wish they were a little less bulky. But I can live with that. If these last as long as the last pair I will be very pleased.

Perfect fit. Lightweight. Waterproof. Can't ask for much more.

I’ve been wearing Merrill’s for 25 years. They are still my go-to for a work and hiking shoe. I wear 8-8.5. I get 8.5 and it fits perfect. I do not wear a heavy or thick sock. I’ve put them to the test with water. My feet stay dry! I’ve recently experience painful neuroma issues. Due to the shoe support my foot feels good! I’m not wincing in pain on every step.

I ordered a 10W and they fit absolutely perfectly. I wore them for several hours the first day without any issues, though I will carry moleskin the first few long hikes I take, as I can feel the back rubbing a bit on my Achilles tendon. The arch support is good and the shoes make my feet look smaller, not larger - a bonus when you wear bigger sizes!

I have a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. I had to try many shoes to find these and am so grateful that I found them! They are very comfortable and provide good traction and support. I wish the heels were not padded on the side, but other than that, they are also attractive.

These are the best shoes I have ever had for light hiking and my “speed walks” . They were comfortable right out of the box. The lower profile is perfect as it allows for my ankle joint to move freely while fully supporting my whole foot. I have a high arch and these support my foot without an additional insert. I also have a small foot (5) and these are true to size.

The wide width is great for my feet. I usually have to size up to a 9 to accommodate width, which leads to slippage in my heels. This shoe fit me perfectly in an 8.5.
