I couldnt get my heal into the boot even with the zipper being all the way down.

So very comfortable and stylish

This was my first purchase of Frye footwear. It was between Frye and Beek for a pair of ankle boots, and I chose Frye. I really like the finish on these boots, which is why I bought these instead of the straight black, which is returnable. I took the reputation for quality and comfort of Frye for granted and ordered these. Other reviewers said these were uncomfortable and had weird sizing. I usually disregard size reviews for good quality shoes. I have found if they are made correctly with good quality control I am a solid 8. My feet are not narrow or wide, my arches are not super low or high. Shoes generally fit me in my size. These boots are not comfortable, and I have to wear them with very thin socks, just slightly thicker and they feel like a vice grip. In addition, one of the boots seems to be bigger on the inside. Yes, one of my feet is bigger than the other (isn't everyone's?), but the better fitting boot is on my bigger foot. I do like the way they look. Overall, I am disappointed, but will make the best of it and try and break them in. If I order Frye again I won't order a final sale pair.

While these boots are the same size as my last pair, they are a different style and I think that's the reason the arches are too tight. Unfortunately, while walking around in the house to see if they might have a chance of fitting, a jubilant dog left a small scuff on one and rendered them impossible to return.

First of all they were too long and narrow. Also, I could not get heel in on the rights shoe on the left hand side of boot heel. Too me the boots didn't look white distressed, but pink distressed. Did smell wonderful though when I took them out of the box. Have looked at these boots and wanted to order for three years...was disappointed. Returned.

These are very comfortable, stylish, and they go great with a pair of leggings.

Love them! They are made very well and are very comfortable.

I just received my boots within the last month so its hard to speak to their longevity or what they are like when they are broken in but so far Im liking the product. They were very stiff at first but have already become more comfortable and I imagine Ill have them fully broken in soon. Fit was also true to size.
