Love these boots, they look cute with everything. The only issue is they're heavy and a bit stiff. But, aside from that they're comfortable and high quality.

I love the antique finish. A little stiff and tight. I wish they were a little more "broken in". I am wearing them all of the time to get them a little more flexible.

Very narrow. Difficult to put on . Returned.

These boots run really small compared to Frye Melissa Button short boots, and all other shoes in same size. I had to return them.

Improperly sized, stiff, uncomfortable... absolutely do not recommend.

Although the quality of the materials is top notch, the design is poor. No pull tab. Could not even get my foot in the boot due to narrow opening. Im so disappointed. I have owned over 5 pairs of Frye boots over the years. Its my go to. But the design has declined. I also did not appreciate paying for shipping both ways. There is no customer service in that when your competitors have free shipping. Over all very disappointing experience!

Really wanted for love these boots. I bought these in the white distressed. Zero distress. Unfortunately, I will be returning these. Sad because I adore everything Frye.

I am writing this review a full year after my purchase of this boot. As others have said, the leather is stiff and the boots are basically uncomfortable. The boots are very heavy and they are made of stiff and unyielding leather. I've been trying to break them in for a year now. I tried stretching them with a shoe stretching thingy, but they are pretty much as stiff as the day I got them. They are very nice looking++quite

Love Frye products!

These are beautiful but my right boot has a flaw in the ankle cuff that dug into my leg and gave me a cut :( I will probably have to return them.

The quality is superb, a great looking stylish boot, but the leather is rather stiff thus the 4 stars. My other Fryes are made with super soft leather! I hope these limber up.

The sizing is off. I could not get them on my feet! I honestly have over 2 dozen Frye footwear items maybe 3 dozen? - all the same size which is why I am a return customer / the same size and quality are top notch consistent - and this is the only negative feedback Ive ever given. Im returning and will be paying $12 return fee. A little frustrated for sure. Im hoping its a fluke

Love this boot! Classic style, the side zip is a plus. Beautiful quality leather.Perfect Heel height., I purchased the color cream (toga) which is also beautiful. I am an 8.5 I had to exchange for a size nine. The reviews are correct. This boot runs small and narrow also there is a breaking inperiod. I strongly suggest sizing up to 1/2 larger or depending what type fit you require.

These boot (and all 15 pairs of my Frye boots) are beautiful and comfy...Fit true to size. They take a minute to break in but totally worth it!

Boots are very stiff and toes are really tight

I love the sturdiness and the excellence of craftsmanship. I am a size 8 1/2, and I use knee high pantyhose. This way they fit just right.

These boots are beautiful! The color is a perfect natural brown that goes with everything. There is a break-in period for the shin- top of boot, but it improves with each wear. Would recommend sizing up half size.

I love Frye boots. I have three pair that I adore and they never go out of style! I always receive a lot of compliments every time I wear my collection! My new Veronica Inside Zip black boot is beautiful; great arch support, stylish and trendy, yet a classic. I would have given the boots a 5 star rating, but did not because the leather on the left boot is an ENTIRELY different leather: a mat finish and not smooth, as opposed to my right boot which has a satin finish-shine. The difference in the leathers can be felt and seen! I used the Frye spray-on boot polish, let it dry, and then buffed with a soft cloth, but no success......as the shine was not to be had by this very mat leather on the left boot. So, much to my chagrin, I took them to a shoe repair and they also tried to shine it with shoe polish, but it did not work; so they used a machine that polishes leather, followed by shoe polish and they were able to match the look of the leather on each boot. It cost me $20, but I bought this pair on sale, so still a good deal! But what gives, FRYE? Why the different leathers? Is this why they were on sale? It begs the question......
