There are two Hoka shoes. One has thicker heels. Make sure you get the right pair.

It was too wide for my narrow size 11 and also the white part on the bottom extends way out and makes it look really big, probably good for stability though. Sorry these did not work for me

These shoes seem to fit ok, I think you need to wear socks to have more comfort, I love the color I hope they look awesome to others, cause to me they look very big, but that is the problem with Hoka's .
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Brooks and yes, sometimes even Nike :)

I love these, but only use them for walking at this point. They offer no stability and are very low on the ankles which makes it easy to slip out of.

This is my first pair of Hoka's . I wore them all day the first time and had no problem!

I just ran a 10K yesterday and my feet still feel great, not too tired today at all! I am looking forward to putting more miles on them.

I love Hoka sneakers but wanted a bit more cushioning than this shoe offered. The style and color are super fun.

I ordered the Mach 3 and the Clifton Edge styles as I have a really bad knee and ankle and I need some stability when I exercise. Upon first unboxing, I liked both "styles" but really liked the unique looks of the Clifton Edge. In trying on 1 of each, I felt like the Clifton's were a bit more comfortable on the foot right out of the box, but a friend and regular Hoka wearer said the Mach 3 style would be much better for walking vs. the Clifton (more of a running shoe). Both shoes provided nice support but I do feel that both felt tight on the mid-foot even with very thin socks. I tried 2 separate days of walking in both shoes and I do feel I prefer the Clifton's over the Mach 3. They are lighter and I like the extra support from the large sole in the back of the shoe. I do think I need to give them some more time as they do need to break in and possibly stretch a little bit and conform to my foot.

Shoe fits great, color is perfect and matches anything. I got this shoe for work & working out directly after and they work for both roles perfectly.

I run almost daily on my treadmill. The shoes are very comfortable and my knees and hip aren't hurting as much!

I run 40+ miles every week and this shoe helps me knock out runs from easy miles, to long runs, to even tempo runs. It is just a very versatile shoe, it has a little bit of a break in period but after that it becomes nice and soft. I'm not sure about "SMOOTHEST RIDE EVER" because I land on my forefoot so I can't really comment on it, however on the downhills it is very smooth and the extended heel is super nice on those downhills. The Durability is a little sad because after 200 miles I don't know if these will make it to another 200 miles. Overall I really recommend this if you are a neutral runner looking for a shoe that is VERY stable.

Well it took about 3 weeks for me to break them in. At first the tongue of the shoe dug into leg so I wore higher socks rather than no show socks...then my feet just hurt. I'm a nurse so wanted cushion and stability for my 12 hour shifts. Most of the girls I work with wear Hokas so I gave them a blind try. Once they were broke in they've been great. I've always heard u shouldn't have to break in tennis shoes but I just kept wearing them. Glad I did.

The first pair I bought did not give me the lateral support I needed. Return and exchange was easy.

These sneakers have been great for running on the treadmill. My only complaint is that they make my feet look really big due to the extended cushioning on the back of the heel.

I've got a metatarsal that gets angry after too much tennis. These shoes feel good, even without the orthotic my podiatrist recommended!

I returned these shoes and am still waiting for the credit to my VISA card. I like HOKAs but did not like the "edge" on these shoes. I love the colors but do not like the extra shoe in the back. I will order from Zappos again if I get my credit soon.
Thanks!

I love the colors and look of these but the extra sole sticking out in the back looks odd

I love these shoes, BUT, has anyone else had problem going down stairs in them? I sometimes run stairs, and do a lot of stair climbing, and I've found that the back of the shoe sticks out so far it catches on the step as I come off it. I've tripped/fallen twice, so have stopped wearing these on stairs. If you're on stairs that aren't particularly deep, these can be dangerous.

When I saw this product I was super excited. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it as a huge fan of the clifton 2. First run was this morning and I have to say I was a little bit let down. I wish it had the cushioning and support of the Clifton 2 with the stability of the arhani. I would buy it again but I am going to invest in some inserts.
