I have wide flat feet & these squeezed the sides of my feet in. I returned them. Would be ideal if they were available in a wide width.

I usually wear a 10 but the boots were too small. I needed an 11. I really liked the style and probably would have been very comfortable in a larger size.

I wear an 8 1/2 sneaker but the 8 1/2 was a bit too big. I really liked the shoes but I wish the sole was more flexible. I was hoping for a "winter sneaker" I'll keep looking.

I really wanted to like these but the ankle was pretty uncomfortable and they felt a little loose. I probably would have tried a half size smaller but the ankles were to stiff and poked in all the wrong spots.

It is a very stylish boot. However, I now have an incredibly sensitive foot and ankle due to a traumatic leg injury. So, I am perpetually on the hunt for lighter weight, very comfortable footbed and ankle support boot. This one had a fairly hard footbed. For my skinny ankles, the shaft was just too high and would have cut into my ankle with every step. If it had been about 3/4 to one inch shorter it might have worked better. The width was fine, but my foot is narrow. I love the lacing so I could adjust to fit my foot and ankle. And, it seemed to have good ankle support. I am returning though and will keep searching. Zappos has been so accommodating sending me various shoes and boots to try. The easy shipping and returns have been crucial to finding footwear which meets my social needs now. I did buy 3 pairs of a "desert boot" style Ariat shoe or bootie. They are so well made with the support around the heel and the shaft is almost the perfect height. They are not particularly stylish, but my foot is happy. Thank you Zappos!!! I heart you!

I don’t hate them, but don’t love them. They’re hard to get on, wish they had a side zipper. I had a lot of boxes to tick, mainly that they keep my feet dry and they do that.

Just got these shoes to replace a pair of winter sneaker boots that I've had for almost 7 years. They are cute, but the other reviews are correct: the ankle portion of the boot, it's very very STIFF. I might even go as far to say the ankle portion is uncomfortable. It feels tight and it feels like it's rubbing in all of the wrong places-- and I have super skinny ankles. I think what would have really helped in the design is to line the ankle portion of the boot with a really fluffy soft material--like Sherpa. If it's going to be a hiking boot it might need that stiffness. But they should make a version that's just for wearing around town with a softer, more flexible ankle portion.

My biggest issue is that there isn't a true heel cup in the shoe so my heel pops up while walking. There is an extra layer of insole on the inside of the shoe that pushes the foot too high for the heel cup to actually hold the heel down. If you imagine looking through a shoe, the foot should be standing on the bottom rubber sole. In these shoes however, the foot is pushed high, half way up the help cup (making the entire heel cup ineffective) and it looks like your foot is floating above the bottom rubber sole.

No arch support my feet were aching for days after wearing them on my trip to Europe. I'm and nurse and walk all day every day with out issues, but these shoes left my feet legit hurting.

I ordered my usual size and while sometime Teva is on the slightly narrow side of 'normal' these shoes were very narrow. Pinched my toes on both sides of the foot, I don't think even sizing up a whole size would have helped. I bought these shoes for winter so with the cold my toes would have gone numb real quick.

I don't know if I can even wear these shoes. The ankle cuff rubbed giant holes in my ankles and no matter how tight or loose I tie them or how thick my 1or 2 pairs of socks are it is still crazy painful. I may contact teva for a refund as these were very expensive to just collect dust or my blood.
