Exactly what I was looking for in a light hiking boot. The toe box is larger than what I was expecting, but really comfortable. I love the muted tones, neutral with out being black. Perfect for walking the dog, cruising on the bike, or urban hiking. Kind of like cold weather sneakers.

I wanted a vegan waterproof shoe for dog walking and these fit the requirements. I’m between an 8 and 8-1/2 and the 8-1/2 is good with normal socks. The shoes are very heavy though, so I can’t wear them all day.

Color is more yellow than seems in photo. Very comfortable sole. A little tight around the ankle, but that may be the intention. Thicker socks work well if you’re sensitive to that.

For reference , 90-percent of the various brands of shoes I own are a size 7.5 and I had to size up to an 8 in these (I wear an 8 in Teva sandals since they don’t come in half sizes). I was able to cram my feet into a 7.5 but my big toe butted up against the tip of the toe box, meaning no room for hiking socks. These are also pretty uncomfortable, which is saying something because I can wear just about anything without complaint. The insole is pretty hard, as is the surround, so I don’t expect them to break in much. I had to add a cushion insert - yet another reason to size up. With the cushion insert + hiking socks they are a bit tight, but I personally refer that over them being too loose. I found the width to by fine and I suppose I have average width feet. I bought the Fudge/Shadow/Orange color which I would actually call Eggplant/Muted Teal/Light Coral. The colors are true to what I see on my Macbook monitor.

It was a comfortable boot but definitely was too wide for my narrow feet.
