I love this coat! I'm in NYC and it keeps me nice and warm through the winter. The only complaint I have is the zipper is difficult to initiate but may just be a random defect. Overall I'm so happy.

I love this jacket! Super warm and beautifully made.

I have a long walk to get to work, so, this is very warm and cozy! A little bulky looking, however, worth the trade off as it is so warm.

This is an outstanding winter coat and it is EXCELLENT quality. Perfect coat for cold weather and extremely cold weather. I can wear this coat to work over a suit, or a casual look with jeans and boots. Great purchase and I love North Face!

THIS COAT IS FOR TALL WOMEN. I'M 5'11, 197LBS. IT FIXS ME FINE THE ARMS LENGTH IS PERFECT NOT TO BIG OR SMALL ITS JUST RIGHT. I CAN WEAR A FLEECE OR SWEATER AND THIS COAT DOESNT FEEL TOO TIGHT. I WILL TRY TO WEAR IT OUT BEFORE I GET TOO BIG FOR THIS COAT.

This is by far the warmest coat I've ever owned, which is what I was looking for. The only drawback is the looser fit without the option of cinching at the waist. The medium was too tight in the arms/shoulders so I sized up and now the middle is more generous than I'd hoped. With a waist cinch, this would be the perfect coat.

This coat is very warm and I love all the pockets. The fit is great for layering-enough room in the chest and the sleeves are the perfect length. It’s an investment, but so worth it. Zappos shipping and customer service is phenomenal!

I bought this coat and the Arctic parka. I ended up keeping the Defdown Futurelight because it fit better in the chest and arms. It is really warm. I love it!

136 lbs, 5' 6" and I wear a small. The arms seem a little long but overall sizing is great. Love that it can unzip from the bottom but sometimes gets stuck when I try to put it back down. Haven't worn in cold MN weather yet but has been great so far.

I'm 6'0 150 lbs and a medium fits great! The sleeves have built in sleeves that fit to my hands- (tall people know the struggle) highly recommend this coat!!!!!

I love this jacket. I'm 5'8, 140 and got a medium which is perfect for me to have a sweater or other layers underneath. I have longer arms so the sleeve length works also. I walked outside in pouring rain and wind and it kept me very dry and warm the entire time. The pockets don't zip on the side, but I actually prefer the bigger ones in front (that button) and they fit quite a lot. It's definitely a bit bulky and not at fitting as other jackets potentially, but I was looking for warmth and that's definitely what this provides. I highly recommend.

Plan on wearing this in the future to holiday markets in Europe and waking around new cities during the winter!

I actually went into the store and tried on jackets first. This one is super comfortable, and I think it feels big on purpose. I'm 5'4" 110 lbs and bought a small. The XS felt too restrictive. If I were wearing a bulky sweater under it, it wouldn't have fit. I'm able to pull the sleeves down and keep my hands warm. Overall I like the bigger feel and there's room for layering. The downside is definitely the pockets. The side pockets are too low to rest your hands in comfortably. They don't zip, but those flap pockets are more than big enough to keep things in. There's only one other small zippered pocket on the inside. Personally, I like having several pockets, but I picked this jacket over other brands because of the goose down, waterproofing, and style. In conclusion, this jacket is supawarm and cozy. I'm happy it's the one I ended up with and I plan on keeping it for a very long time.

I was expecting a big coat like this to be super heavy but it turned out to be super lightweight! I think the pricey justifies how lightweight, warm, and comfortable this jacket is. I've always hated wearing big coats because of its heavy weight that ends up hurting my shoulder/neck from carrying it on my body for so long, this I can wear all day long. There's also a lot of zipper pockets too. 2 outside, 1 interior, and 1more on the sleeve (I suppose this is for the credit card/ID for easy access). The size on this is on the bigger side- so try one size smaller.

I use it very day in the winter time and it protect me from the cold weather and Raining.

Love this coat! I have long arms and the sleeves are not constricting and I love the foldover feature to keep your hands warm. The length is longer but the side zippers are very helpful when sitting down and allow for greater mobility.

Great quality and warm, and of course, Gore-Tex. Everything you need for the winter.

I've had the Arctic Parka for a little over 5 years and wanted something different. (Another awesome jacket by the way!) It's definitely not a slim fit, but you can get away with wearing thicker sweaters, hoodies, etc.. It's an extremely warm, comfortable, and breathable winter jacket that I'm sure will last just as long as my previous one! I've been extremely happy with my NF purchases and their customer service for a long time!

I liked the coat more in person. I was concerned that it might be a little snug, but it isn't and I'm glad that I didn't go up a size. I think that I'll get a lot of use of this coat next winter.

Great jacket, it is perfect for extreme weather.

I have been searching the last 2 seasons for a winter coat I like. I've always known what I wanted, but could never find a coat that "had it all". Being in Minnesota, it gets cold and I am a serious cold baby. I never feel warm so winter is a struggle for me. This coat is fantastic. Love the 2 way front zipper along with the zippers on the sides. Makes sitting in a car and running errands so much easier. Great fit on hood with lots of fur to block wind. Hoods were so big on other coats but this one fits just right without hanging down in my face. Love how light it feels when you wear it, but yet it keeps me comfortable and warm. Well as comfortable as a freeze baby can be in horrible Minnesota winters. Highly recommend!!
