For the price I don't love this coat but it will do the job and I don't have time to return it and shop for something I like better.

A very comfortable coat that was true to size; however, I felt it was too long and looked a little shapeless on me. I'm 5'3" and about 125 lbs and the coat was not as flattering on me as the Arctic parka..

I really loved everything about this coat, but the zipper is just so bad that I have to return it. This coat isn't cheap, and the material is such high quality, why wouldn't you put some engineering into the zipper quality and placement? The zipper is too low, so you have to reach down at an awkward angle, and in addition it's just really hard to start the zipper up, everything has to align just perfectly. After that, the zipping and down isn't smooth. I can just imagine myself fumbling with this zipper every time I try to put the coat on, and that's just really unacceptable for the price of this coat.

It's waterproof and warm. I'm 5'4 and usually wear xs. I ordered xs and it fits everywhere except stomach. Coat fabric bunches up around stomach and looks bad.

This coat is just too big for my 5'2" frame. Waistline is too low and sleeves way too long and bunch up like the Michelin Man. It is a good quality coat though and could tell it would have kept me warm this winter but I had to return due to the oversized fit. North Face please add petite sizes to your product line!

Coat: Medium, red. Me: 5'2". Coat hits a little above the knee I bought this coat 2 weeks ago. Let's start with the good. I was a little hesitant to buy a red coat because it is "in your face" bright cherry red and my preference are dark colored coats. However, this was on sale and I have received numerous compliments on it. We've been hit by a ton of snow here in the midwest. This coat has kept me comfortable and warm as well as shielded from the elements and windchill -20 to -40 degrees. I walk my dog every day and a winter baselayer under the coat is enough. The coat pockets are also roomy to hold snowboarding mittens. The are zippers on the bottom of the coat conveniently allow leg mobility when I'm seated or want to cool down. Now for the cons: The fabric is proned to stain or fray. For example, I lightly leaned against my vehicle to clear snow and there are now dirt stains especially around where the magnets are. Additionally, fibers around the wrist are already frayed/pulled for some unknown reason. It's hard to believe this coat is GORE-TEX. I have several GORE-TEX coats of various brands and they still look new over the years and snowboarding excursions. The magnets should have been snaps. Stains collect on and around the magnets, which now has a visible circle stain. The convertible mitten storm cuffs are a great idea, but they feel too short/restrictive.

Walk dogs daily this coat really blocks the wind, the hood doesnt blow off, it has huge deep pockets that you can zip to make small of big and it has sleeves with hand covers, there are magnets to help close the material over the zipper to keep out wind but the zipper sticks when zipping up and sticks worse when trying to take it off.

This coat is wonderful in every way EXCEPT. magnets have replaced snaps. Which would be fine if they stayed closed. I live in the city which means I'm in and out constantly and rarely zipper up. Every move causes the magnet to slide. If I shift my bag, if I bend to fasten the dogs, just walking while carrying a bag. It is SO frustrating. What a wonderful coat to have this really annoying flaw!

Sent the coat back. Too heavy and not warm enough on the bottom.

It's confusing when you order this jacket because the reviews are all about the 2019 version and not the new 2020 version listed. The outside has one mini sleeve zipper pocket and the remaining two outside are awkward placement. The button pockets have side pockets that can only be used for hands because any other item will slip out easily, but they aren't a comfortable hand placement pockets either, they are a bit too low to comfortably have hands in and you'll always have part of your hand exposed to the elements because of that. The jacket in no way feels warm but I have not yet tested it in cold weather- it's just so thin that you wonder how it can be warm but maybe that's the new technology they talk about and hopefully it will actually be warm because it goes below zero where I live.

I really wanted to like this Parka because I have been in the "sleeping bag" Metropolitan style for multiple years now and was excited about the warmth but also sleeker looking style to this jacket. I tested it out on a really cold day and did not find the pockets, nor my legs as warm as my previous poof jacket - disappointed but sticking with what I got! I love all that North Face does, this jacket isn't for below 32.

This was intended to be everyday jacket for cold weather. However, the troublesome zipper makes me think twice before wearing it, especially when I am going in and out of buildings all day. i was replacing another jacket with zipper problems and even practiced in the store, but I should not have bought it. I have worn it a couple of times, so will North Face do anything?

I bought this coat at the end of the last season hoping for a quality winter jacket. I live pretty far north, it hasn't even gotten particularly cold but I am already really regretting this purchase. There are cold spots on both arms and on the back of the shoulders. It doesn't even hold up at -10 degrees Celsius. If you're looking for a fashion item, this is very stylish and fits well. But this is not a reliable coat. Very disappointed. Not the quality I would expect from North Face.

I found this excessively heavy, stiff and bulky. Can't speak to warmth or wearability because I returned it.

I am so so disappointed. I fell in love with this jacket in store, took it out on a walk at a park. Temperature is about 38 F and the cold air keeps seeping in. My arm and back was the first one that is cold. After spending almost $500, I did not expect to be cold, really disappointed in this item.
