I rarely buy stuff so when I do I am REALLY picky. This coat is AMAZING! I have wanted it for a couple of years and finally bought it with ZERO regrets. It's warm, waterproof, comfy and fashionable. My favorite thing are the magnetic closures for easy on and off. Big pockets, double tab zipper and a bit longer in the back for full coverage. BUY THIS COAT and I promise you won't regret it. So happy

I am 5'4" and 155lbs. Size Medium let's me have room to wear a thick sweater. I love how the bottom zipper makes it so you can easily sit. I've worn this outside trekking through the pines in West MI in the snow. Kept me warm the entire time. I even had to unzip as I was getting toasty hiking through the woods in it. The fur hood is so gorgeous. I get compliments all the time whenever I wear it. This is the first coat I have ever spent so much on and I must say for living in Michigan, it was the best purchase! It is quality material and love the deep pockets in the front as well as the warm fleece lined pockets on the sides. I am confident I will never be chilly when wearing this. The best winter coat to keep me warm, especially since we have been getting into single digit temps this winter! Worth the price tag!

If youre looking for warmth in freezing temperatures this jacket is for you. I own this and the North Face arctic parka 2 as well..... and this one is definitely warmer. I have worn it in minus 30 Celcius and been warm with just a t shirt....With that being said... Its a bit boxy fitting and its too warm for any weather from about 0 celcius and up wheras the arctic parka is good Id say from about -5 and up to mid teens without getting too warm and its more tapered and attractive for a female body. To me they both serve a purpose but when its freezing cold out i always grab my defdown futurelight. I am 5'5 185lbs and i wear a large in the defdown.

Love this coat for warmth and style! My daughter bought one last winter and I loved it every time I saw it on her. Definitely kept her warm during cold fall outdoor soccer games. When I saw it on sale again I had to get my own! Not eager for winter to come in anyway but am excited about wearing my new coat when it does!!!

The coat is warm, fits exceptional well, on very cold days it provided me with confort and warmth. I would also buy this coat as a gift for my grand daugthers.

It runs a little small if you want layering. I sized up one size and its perfect!!!

I needed to update my NorthFace jacket from 15 years ago for those subzero days to a newer lightweight model with a faux fur lining. I LOVE the zippers that can zip up from the bottom when you are driving in the car. I love the multi-pockets (top down opening on the front and side opening like normal for gloves) for separate locations (think wet gloves and phone) for convenience.

I really hesitated because of the price, but this coat checked all the boxes. I got it as my warmest coat and that's what it is. It's a little heavy, but that means you don't need to layer (though it fits comfortably over my heaviest sweaters). I wouldn't wear it if the temp climbed much over 40 - it's that warm. But for our coldest NYC days it's been perfect. I got the olive color and absolutely love it. The pockets are thoughtful (side, patch and inside) and the hood is awesome - warm enough to dispense with a hat but capacious enough to fit lightly over a hat. The cuffs at the sleeves keep your arms really warm and the length provides extra warmth - and style. The zipper works fine (especially compared to other 2-way zippers I've had) and the placket snaps over it for extra warmth. Just love it. Size was perfect (I'm 5'8" / 150 lbs and the medium fits just fine). Worth the splurge.

This was an absolute champion in extremely cold weather. It shrugged off 0 degrees (F) and kept me dry and happy through the winter! My favorite parka by miles.

Bought for my wife for Christmas. She has 20 coats but this one is her favorite and the warmest by far. Now if I could only get her to donate the other 20.

I use this jacket everyday. I can not wait to use it in a snow storm! That would be so cool! I am sure I will be so warm in a snow storm!

Really great quality jacket! Very warm, but not too heavy/uncomfortable and love that it's waterproof. I took off the fur hood, and I like it better without it. Expensive but it was what I was looking for. I also love the huge pockets, my 32oz Hydrofask can fit no problem!

I love this coat! It keeps you warm on cold days and nights. It fits nicely and you can move your arms without feeling restricted. The sleeves are generous in length which I Love! Thanks again for the healthcare workers discount. Would not have been able to purchase had it not been for the discount. I definitely recommend this coat!

It is a super warm coat for the cold minnesota winters

In the winter months when it's cold and necessary to wear a coat such as this one.

As a Wisconsin native, I wanted a coat that would do well on super cold weather days. This coat blocks the biting wind, keeps off wet snow, and is toasty warm. I love the green color as well! The pockets are at a bit of an awkward angle but the sleeves have an inner lining that keeps my hands warm for when I don't have any gloves on. The hood stays on nicely in the wind too. Overall, exactly what I was looking for!

Ever since I got mine I've loved it, and have been wearing it ever since. I never ever feel cold, even if I have the lightest clothing under. Worth the buy!
