I bought this jacket looking for a warm jacket to be able to with stand the brutal Chicago Winters. It looks heavy but is actually super light and breathable! I love it ! I really like that the sleeves have the tighter cuffing around the wrist. I also love the secret inside pocket and the one one the sleeve !!!! The only Cons to me is the pocket placing is slightly awkward. The side pockets where id normally place my hands are super low. And the two front pockets are too big. But it's not enough of a con for me personally to now recommend it to others. The other CON is the zipper. It's two zippers in one ? You can zip it up and in zip it from the bottom if you want ? Its kinda weird and I don't know how I feel about it. I guess I have a love/hate relationship with it. Because the jacket doesn't have side snaps like the previous versions, marking it harder to sit down. So I'll occasionally unzip the jacket half way up so I can sit down. But sometimes it unzips itself up? Again not a huge deal to me but kinda annoying but the actual quality of the jacket is great !

Perfect winter parka with great wind protection too. Keeps you warm and no issues with sweating.

Perfect coat for all out door cold weather gear

This is a perfect outdoor cold weather jacket. I don't like layering up so I can literally throw this jacket on over even a t-shirt and stay warm outside. Since it hits right at the knees, it is great that you can adjust the Bottom zipper up as well so you have more movement. But bottom zipper does seem to have a mind of its own so can be finicky. It does not fit baggy but in fact is pretty stylish. I love it and I have gotten tons of compliments. Two pockets on each side are great too!

I've lived in Philly for 8 winters and finally am warm during the winter snow/wind! The side pockets are a bit awkward, too low for your hands and your keys and phone will fall out. Luckily there are two other pockets that adequately can hold phone and keys. The fur hood really blocks the wind and keeps snow/sleet out of your face. The jacket also doesn't feel overly heavy. Was thankful for the opportunity to buy this jacket with the healthcare provider discount NorthFace offered!! I don't know if I could have afforded it otherwise, but I do think the price is fair for what you get (it's significantly warmer than the Metropolis Parka, which is priced well and lasted me 12 winters).

I can use this jacket and not have to layer as I would with other jacket,however it can be a bit heavy

The futurelight jacket is very warm. It has been more than 10 below zero F. and I am very comfortable wearing this coat. I am typically a freeze baby. My husband and I go on walks in the cold and I actually have to take it off because it is so warm. That has NEVER happened before. I like the length of the coat because when it is really cold and get into a cold car and leather seats, it keeps your bottom warm!

Warmest coat ever. My 82 year old mother also wants one in these cold MN days Will be looking to order her one also. She is a stylish 82 year old. Nice fur too

Great for col weather, going to work, going to dinner, Apres. It keeps my very warm in freezing conditions.

This jacket has been my saving grace during the stretch of below zero weather we've been having in Wisconsin. Waiting for my car to warm up is much more tolerable with this jacket! I love that it's warm without being too heavy.

I love this coat! I live in northern Vermont and bought this to wear around our property when it is well below freezing. It is perfect to stay very warm. If I am going to snowshoe or ski I prefer to wear a lighter jacket with layers, but this is great for everything else!

This is the best coat I've owned! It has been great for the below zero weather and snow we've been having here the last couple of weeks. I love the large pockets for gloves and the cuffs on the sleeves to prevent the gap between gloves and coat. Definitely worth the money as I will be using this for years to come.

I live in the PNW and by October I was already cold so I splurged on this and I am so HAPPY I did!!

It is lightweight but easily the nicest and warmest coat I have ever owned. Made Wisconsin winter bearable

This coat is warm, partially covers the legs and is very nicely cut so it doesn't feel too bulky. I love the wind guard in the sleeves and the sleeve pocket. The hood is great to have also and can be worn with or without a hat under it. I have never been cold wearing this coat in upstate NY, where winter temperatures can linger -20F!

I use my coat every day. I wear it to work and then outside to shovel. I was hesitant to buy it for the price, but hopefully will have it for years!

Love this jacket! It's super cozy and warm. The hood is a little big, so that's the only thing that's a bit cumbersome. Perfect for Denver winters.
