Wanted a replacement of my much beloved North Face APEX TKA Fleece Jacket /(where after 5 years of heavy usage the Zipper broke) - this one sounded good, but the fit it totally different and the material very stiff

Too bad it does not fit and it is not warm enough.

Jacket looks great, well made, but I cannot wear it because there is not enough room in the arms to comfortably wear even a thin long sleeved shirt under the jacket. Although I work out, my arms are very average in size. This was a L and chest and waist fit perfectly. The XL was way too big.

Have an old one that I like a lot but its tearing. This has to many little changes that don't work for me. One being a very small chest pocket.

I owned the Apex 2 for over 3 years and was my favorite jacket. Versatile for most conditions and dead situations. The new Apex 2 sleeves are too long and unable adjust and the fit just seems off. I miss my Apex Bionic and wished North Face hadn't messed with a good thing.

Not sure why tnf had to make a bionic 2 when the original was perfect. This one feels cheap and the sizing feels off for some reason. I'm also very disappointed that they took away the adjustable sleeve cuff. The sleeve doesn't taper and covers my hand. I wanted to live this jacket, but it doesn't compare to the original.

I am 5' 9 and 175 lbs, and I usually wear medium size clothing. I have noticed that for north face jackets they tend to be a little bigger, so this time I ordered a small and it was still a little big. I would have kept this jacket if the only problem was just that it was a little big, but after trying it on I realize the sleeves were very long.

If you need a jacket for warmth, this is not it! I only live in Louisiana so winters are not as cold as the north. You will freeze your butt off if it is below 50 degrees!

I have other Northern Face products and really like them. I shouldn't have bought this online without trying it on first. The craftsmanship is great, but it seems like a bad design. I love your products but this was a miss.

Walking, errands. The original Bionic APEX I was fantastic! North Face is taking advantage of it's loyal customers like me by lowering its manufacturing standards. It is now producing shoddy junk!

Had this jacket for years and recently replaced it with a new one. After ordering I discovered there's no closures on the sleeves to tighten the cuff. In my opinion, this makes the new jacket a failure since the sleeves are super long but could've been just fine with a simple add. Jacket was returned.

I replaced my older one because I left it on a flight. The older versions was much better. Stitched North Face logo instead of Iron on and sleeves no longer have the velcro which I used all the time. You would expect the newer version to be somewhat upgrade not down graded. Disappointed.

This jacket is way to small even in 3 XL. I am 3 XL guy and this jacket is small small small . Its not true 3 XL . Its def one size smaller. So if you wear 3 XL you have to order 4 XL but they don't make 4 XL sizes. Too bad NF left big guys aside !

I'm 6' and somehow the sleeves of a medium go past my hands. I've never had this problem before. The rest of the jacket fits perf I don't get it. Sorry tnf I'm not a monkey my hands don't go down to my knees. Had to return.

Received this new Apex for xmas and still wear my old Apex instead. Sleeves are annoyingly long and they now lack the wrist strap. Will probably exchange for the Columbia knockoff.

This is a really odd jacket - it is windproof, but there is no way to cinch up the cuffs. The Velcro has been removed, and there is no elastic in the cuff. The wind will absolutely go right up your sleeves. I'm going to have to return it, I'm afraid. This is the first and only time I've ever been disappointed with a North Face product.

I have the original and love it. A gift of a new one and wow. Not the same! First big rain storm, it soaked all the way through on a 30 minute walk

Everything except the sleeve length is grea! I wish this were offered in the "active fit" not just the "relaxed fit."

The material change drove the quality of the product straight to the ground, Disappointing at the very least.

Not the same as the older model. The main issue is the lack of elasticity around the wrists, resulting in the sleeves falling down over your hands. Jacket has a overall stiff feeling and fit.
