I bought an Apex jacket last fall when I needed something mid-weight but presentable enough to wear out or to the office. I liked it enough that I bought another one this year in a different color combination. This jacket runs true to size, is comfortable, and works well for a casual night out.

light weight yet very warm.

It's taking me a while to get used to my first soft shell jacket. It fits well in the chest and sleeves aren't too long. It's fairly comfortable but the material makes it feel like I'm wearing a wetsuit. It's a little heavy and stiff for me but I'll probably become more used to it as winter progresses. Hopefully it will lose the stiffness over time. Zippers work well but the front zip sometimes binds/catches the wind flap. Hopefully this will loosen up over time as well. The drawstring hem is a nice touch as is the fleece inside the collar. Seems like I have to pull/stretch the plastic velcro wrist tabs to get them to hold securely... work in progress. Jacket washed very well, retaining both shape and size. Haven't worn in the rain yet so can't comment on water repellency. I'll give it some time before I make the "would buy again/recommend to a friend" decision.

Great jacket, but I got caught in heavy rain and it was SOAKED through. Took awhile to dry as well.

I use this jacket daily now that the weather is changing and getting a little colder. I usually wear it to work and when I'm out on the weekends. This jacket is great for a rainy day. The rain beads up and rolls right off, ensuring you will not get wet. This jacket is also great to wear in the car as it's not bulky or puffy. I did feel that the jacket was kind of stiff for the few weeks but it did loosen up some. Would be nice if this came with a hood, didn't see a hooded version of this jacket.

My husband loved this jacket. He wears it to work on top of his business casual clothing. It's very classy looking. I gave it four stars instead of Five only because it seems like Northface stuff just fits my husband a little bit short. He is tall and slender so he struggles to find clothing long enough. But he still liked it and kept it. He also was very happy that the bottom part of the jacket was able to be tighter to his body. Definitely suggest this jacket to anyone.

This is my son's second black North Face Bionic Jacket. The first one was great, but he just grew out of it. He wears it both in the fall and winter. The jacket holds up well!

Compared to shopping experience from famous stores through online portal, I found North face online shopping portal very convenient and trustworthy. I received the same material which I had ordered. This jacket is wonderful as it reasonably priced and it fully protects from cold wind while I am running. Only improvement should have been there in the jacket if there would have been two inside pockets.

The new style cut feels weird compaired to the old style. I went 1 size larger than I usually wear because of the odd cut. If you are use to wearing tighter fitting clothes then I doubt you will notice. I like my jackets with some room under them

The jacket has a great look. Color goes with a lot. High quality material. Warm inside. My only complaints are that the collar tends to touch my face when I turn my head, and the pockets aren't insulated so your hands get cold if decide to put them in there.

It's an exceptional jacket, I couldn't be happier with the materials, design, and quality of construction. Perfect for cold Spring mornings. One minor criticism is the Velcro sleeve adjustment system - comes loose occasionally. Not a big deal though. Overall a great jacket, I would recommend it to others, and I plan to be a TNF customer for years to come.

Love it! ! ! Very comfortable and daily wear Jacket

Great buy for a decent price. The jacket has attracted attention from other people and get asked what kind of jacket it is. I wish i had a hat or some gloves to go along with it, since i take it everywhere. Nice fabric and love the pocket space.

This is a very versatile jacket. I travel a lot and this jacket goes with me. Not only is it warm and comfortable but I can fold it up and put in my backpack and when I take it out it isn't a wrinkled mess. The functional design covers casual and semi casual occasions.

Out of several tried the Bionic fit and looks great so,..got the black ink green.

I really love the quality of Northface but this jacket is a little big for an xl.

Fits well. The only concern I have it that the collar doesn't always stay down. I will try to iron it and I think that might help. Over all I like the way the jacket fits and also the way it looks with my outfits. A great casual coat.

The coat is very nice, Very warm. Very happy with my purchase. with a sweater underneath it keeps me warm outside down to about 30 degrees.
