I use this jacket daily since I've bought it and I'll never regret my purchase. Get compliments on it a lot and look in the reflection of every window I pass just to get another look st how fly I look

My work involves me being on the road in variable climates in all seasons. This jacket has become part of my essential pack. With layering I've gone through -30c winters, with just the shell, Louisiana summer rain. And I can compress it down to a package about 4"x4"x8".
I've not owned anything else with the versatility this jacket has.

Tri Climate Thermaball is true to size, looks great, light weight yet very warm and can be used without shell in cold, dry, wind free climate.

Looked long and hard for a comfortable, lightweight jacket that I could wear in cool, cold, windy, and/or rainy weather. The Thermoball Triclimate jacket meets my goals!
When the jacket arrived in a smallish plastic bag, I thought maybe my wife had bought a shirt or something. To my surprise, this wonderful and amazing jacket was inside! The outer shell is comfortable, breathable, and with a nice feel (Gortex is too "crunchy" for me). I wear it by itself most of the time. The Thermoball inner jacket is very lightweight and super comfortable - adds just the right touch of warmth for a cool day and combined with the shell keeps me warm on cold ones.
I'm a big guy (6 ft, 235 lbs) but the XL fit snug but comfortable, even with both the inner and outer jackets on.
I plan to take this jacket as my only outer wear for a year-long RTW trip next year. It fits great scrunched in the bottom of my backpack when I don't need it and handles everything but prolonged, extreme cold.
Great jacket, great company.

The only downside to this jacket that I have found so far has been some slight, over the head, arm movement restrictions.

Bought this jacket for my father, the size that TNF recommended was perfectly accurate. It is quite stylish, love the color, and it is quite warm for normal winter! Great deal!

Great versatile jacket. It's lightweight but packs some warmth. In Southern California we will get as low as the high 20"s and this jacket is perfect for when the high jumps to the 60's. I was going to get the snow Triclimate but that's too much for everyday use here. We've had serious rain storms lately with some cold wind and this jacket did great keeping me warm and drm. Wish it was a little more form fitting... it feels a little too fluffy at times and the L was too snug.

My brother got this for Christmas and fell in love at first sight! He loves wearing it and hates when he doesn't wear it outside. It keeps him warm in negative weather In Alaska

Wear for more casual activities since I have TNF gear for the more extreme activities I like to do in the winter but this would be just fine with most anything you can throw at it and you would be super comfortable.

Got this as a Christmas present. Never owned a North Face jacket, nor really owned clothing this expensive before. I always rolled my eyes at "technology clothing" or clothing with buzzword features, but oh my has that changed now. I recently moved to Portland and needed something completely water resistant. No liquid will soak into this fabric, it will just bead off no problem. The jacket is thin and feels like an internal temperature control. I was so used coming from Chicago essentially gearing up for Siberia in winter that I didn't know jackets could be so warm and thin. Overall I am very impressed. If I had to complain about one small thing, the zippers feel way to thin and I fear one day I might pull too hard and break it.
