Lightweight and warm. Chest pocket is very shallow. Everything falls out easily. Should've been deeper. And why not to add sleeve zip or Velcro closed pocket, would be very handy.

I gifted this to my husband and he liked the product. But the product was damaged as there was a hole under the left front pocket. I feel bad as this was my first gift to him.

Jacket is very stylish. It would be a great jacket for a city that doesn't hit below 40 degrees. Once it's below 40 degrees this jacket is utterly useless and that's with me wearing crewneck under it too. It was 30 degrees and when I wore the jacket with a crewneck under it the jacket felt like a wind breaker

Excellent fit. Warm neighs to wear between 40-50F. Great looking product. Fits a bit on a slim side which is a huge positive given that all jackets produced by the US companies are baggy and slouchy. The only negative is that chest pocket is not deep enough. Also, there are no sleeve pockets at all for north face 3-in1 line, which is huge negative. Thus, three stars. Hoping the company will fix it soon.

Bought for our 17 year old son in preparation for the cold days when he goes to college in the North East next year - it seems to be warm enough for the Mid-Atlantic winters, but not convinced that this offers enough warmth for Boston winters.

I like how it looks, gotten a lot of compliments on the style, but it feels a little bulky while wearing it.

Casual use. Stylish design. Way overpriced for the quality. Equal or better products with more economically priced brands. Very disappointed.

I had to return it. Disappoint at the North Face coat. There's no chest pockets. No hood on the outer shell, I can't hook this coat on the coat hanger. The insulation layer was much thinner than my old North Face 3 in 1 jacket. I ended up buying an Arcteryx jacket.

I got this jacket at the beginning of 2020 and it served me well on cold days in Toronto (it's warm enough for spring, fall, and the warmer parts of winter in Toronto), with the exception of several times that the outer shell zipper got stuck and I ended up trapped in the jacket. The most recent instance was a few days ago where the zipper got stuck high up on the jacket and there was no way to get it loose - I was trapped. The best I could do was wriggle out of it, which took me about 10 mins, and in the process 3 of the teeth of the outer zipper ripped off. I'm yet to hear back from customer service as to whether they can actually help fix the zipper or replace the outer shell. There's no way that this zipper design is sustainable. I don't know if others experience the same thing (maybe it was just my jacket?), but I'm pretty sure getting trapped isn't one of those things a jacket's supposed to do for you.

This is exactly what I want, minus one massive flaw: both the outer and interior layers poof straight out in the middle of my chest. Whether separate on combined, they bunch up and stick straight out as a big bump right at chest level unless I am pulling the coats down constantly. I've worn Northface coats for decades and am very confused by this obvious design flaw.

Overall rating low for couple of reasons, - Overhyped brand using cheap craftsman ship - Fabric looks old and looks I purchased old faded jacket - Low quality Logo/emblem and not embroidered - This is not Cold weather jacket, good for warmer areas and definitely not for Northern / upper mid-west climate - Price not justified ... brand doesn't matter when you have deal with real cold

Terrible all around-got this jacket 1 week ago and yesterday the left side zipper separated and no longer works. The main zipper got stuck at one pint too for 10 minutes but luckily didn't separate. Either way I'm returning this jacket today. Didn't like it much to begin with-how could there only be 2 pockets and no inside pockets? The 2 outside pockets are also too shallow and I feel like things are going to fall out. Not as warm as I would have thought either.

there is no holding between inner and outer layers. You need to use both hands to hold it up. Its length is too long.

I got the coat as a gift and was super excited. When out to get the mail in 25 df. and I instantly felt cold like I was just wearing a windbreaker. The take said you'll love this overpriced jacket because you'll feel like your saving the planet with all the recycled garbage we used for insulation instead of the best insulating materials available. What good is saving the environment if you freeze to death. FYI Down is renewable.

I wear an XL in every brand i have ever worn. This XL was about the size of most other brands L jackets. I tried on a friends XXL and i could fit 2 of myself in it. There is no happy median with this jacket. They do not make a single size i can wear. This is also an ongoing complaint on many of North Face's jackets. If you read the reviews you will find many just like mine. Why this has not been fixed i do not know. I have found reviews as far back as 2010 with the same complaint on multiple jacket models. The XL is made for a super model and the XXL is made for a sumo wrestler.

Not sure if this is a counterfeit product or not. No other seller has the jacket in these color combos. I purchased this jacket and it was broken/broke right away. I returned it and purchased the supposedly same jacket from another manufacturer and the jackets were vastly different. The second jacket I purchased has more pockets, was warmer, and the build quality was vastly improved. Maybe this is an older generation of the jacket that is being sold on Zappos, but I'd avoid it and go purchase the jacket from another site.

This jacket has a great shell - nice fabric and great fit. The Thermoball liner jacket is thin overall and the arms are super thin. Very little warmth. Below 45 degrees practically useless. Returning.

When I was growing up and an avid camper, hiker, climber, North Face was a brand we all wanted to own. We knew we could count on it to keep us warm and dry, no matter the conditions. Sadly, this isn't the case any longer. The Men's ThermoBall Eco Triclimat was an investment for me as I live in New England and we have wet cold winters. Unfortunately this investment was a failure from the start. When I first put on the jacket, the pocket zipper came right off because the stitching of the pocket hadn't been completed, there was literally no stitching for several inches at the bottom of the pocket. How could that pass Quality inspection, I have no idea. The color and size were on back order, so returning wasn't an option. I was given a discount and had a local seamstress repair the jacket. Then one of the loops that holds the sleeves together broke, it can't be repaired. The jacket is not waterproof, especially the sleeves- even in a light rain the sleeves start to soak through. Also, the hood will never stay on your head in wind, there are no clips to hold the drawstrings. This is a jacket to look stylish in the city, not for wearing in bad weather, and certainly not for any type of outdoor activity. Overall, it's the quality I would expect form a $100 jacket, not a $300+ piece of clothing.

It only lasted for 3 months. I think these coats were cheaply made as part of the healthcare workers 50% Covid discount. I've never had such a cheap north face product in my entire life.

My pocket zipper is broken and the main front zipper takes 2-3 try's to get it zipped. I have had North Face jackets since the early 90's I hate it because I like north face apparel and equipment. Just need to see it from now on before I buy it.
