Shoe is great, good traction, seems durable, so far responds well, & stylish. I would have given 5 stars however the show runs narrow, i could tell on my first run that these shoes were gonna be too narrow. I ordered wide but should have ordered extra wide.

Dont know yet - but the last pair of cascadias I had holes were worn through the fabric near my big toe nuckle (on both feet!) on the first long run.

Good shoe. Under the toe the surface felt hard with every strike.

I purchased a pair of Cascadia 12 shoes several years ago. I didn't break them out of the box for use until a couple of years ago. The shoe feels great and looks great, very comfortable. The reason I'm only giving the shoe a 2 star, instead of a 5 star, rating is that after less than a year of use (using 2, maybe 3 times a week), a hole in the material appeared above my big toes. I've since put a small piece of "moleskin" in the shoes where my toes came in contact with the material. This fix works great and can extend the life of the shoe for people whose toes angle up. I haven't checked out the later model of Cascadia's, but if Brooks hasn't reinforced the material toward the toe of the shoe, I recommend they do so. When my current ones give out, I'll check out the latest model and see if my advice was taken.

I wanted to like these. 11.5 was way too small and the 12 doesn't hold my foot (I think I have normal feet?). Trail running in the 12 was painful and didn't feel secure or controlled at all. No feeling of agility, like sponges on my feet. They seem well made, but not for me.

Exceedingly narrow along the medial longitudinal arch. Caused pain after less than 1 mile. Run in Ghosts daily, these were shipped back immediately.
Also - Brooks, the color choices are hideous. C’mon!

Shoe is comfy, but extremely wide in the heels. If you have narrow heels, this shoe will not work for you. Will slip a lot

Wow. These shoes felt very snug in the toe box. I was not able to enjoy wearing the shoes around the house as a test run for 10 minutes because the toe box pinched my toes too close together. They hurt my feet in the 5 minutes I wore them. The colors are really nice and the tread looks amazing. Overall a big miss with the narrow toe box.

The least durable upper of any Brooks (6 pairs) I’ve owned. In the first few weeks wear holes began to appear at toe. I put most miles on grass so it’s not as though these were used as approach nor regular light hiking. Get shoe goo or other patching kits

Purchased these with great anticipation only to experience disappointment after only 3 months of use. The heel material developed holes in both the right and left shoe. It appears that the liner material is extremely delicate. It's not like I have sandpaper heels...... I have never had any situation with any of the over 15 pairs of Brooks shoes that I have owned. Pretty bummed about these shoes.

Brooks Cascade 15 I was really anticipating the releases of these shoes, and despite having some nice points, they miss the mark for me. I wear a wide shoe, and have been running in 12.5 2E Ghosts for several years because I can?t find a wide trail shoe that will not give me blisters between my 4th and 5th toes. I mostly trail run and while the ghosts are a good running shoe for me, there performance off trail here in the high Sierras around Lake Tahoe are lacking. I must have 8 pairs of Ghosts in the closet right now. I run 40-60 miles a week, 96% trails. Back to the Cascadia. I had tried the 13 version 2 years back. At that point the Cascade ran long so I ended up in a 12 2E. The 13 version was too narrow so a no go for me but I did talk to Brooks and was told, the 15 is wider. The 12 2E in the 15 is short. = No consistency. I still question the 2E part. They are not too wide. I like the lace garage and the built in gator attachment point. My dislikes are: -they are not too wide. -The 3D Print Rubber Mud Guard, leaves a ?lip? on the inside of the shoe. For my foot it hits right at my little toe as it comes around the shoe and has lead to some rubbing issue. Did I mention these are not wide It seems to me that Brooks has falling into the trap where they believe that folks with wide feet are not ?real runners?. I say the size of one?s foot has no relationship to how tough they are. I wish the designers at Brooks would look at some feet and see that feet are not ?pointy?! People with wide feet need a foot shaped shoe and a wide toe box. I guess Brooks has written me off as a runner, which is disappointing.
