After reading other reviews, especially one in particle from an older gentleman with plantar fasciitis, I decided to give the Brooks a go. I love the Brooks Ninja 12’s for street work. I haven’t had plantars in 7 years, and don’t want it again, so am very particular with my shoes. I usually rock Solomon Speedcross 5’s for all my trail running and hiking, with zero issues. I’ve used the Brooks Cascadia 15’s three times so far, and the last two times (especially the third time) I’ve started to have major heel flair up. I’m not risking a fourth time, so these are being sent back. Hopefully my heel goes back to normal tomorrow.

First pair one shoe was a fraction too small. Was improperly manufactured. Second pair fit and felt fine

My workouts involve walking 4 to 5 miles per day - some days road and some days trail. I have owned various Cascadia models in the past and desired the extra support of a trail shoe. I will say that for road work, the outer edge of the right shoe (from mid-foot to little toe) seems to be raised or too firm in comparison to the left foot shoe. It has been bothersome but I am hoping it improves with use. Then again, maybe it's just my feet are different. For trails, they are awesome! Support, grip, protection - all terrific!

These are my favorite shoes. I have been wearing them almost exclusively ever since I discovered the Cascadia 5's. The only thing I wish Brooks would do is add some slightly better toe protection for roots, etc. on the upper.

Not as I hoped it would be. Too small, too narrow, and little support, no balance, don't like the soles.

Tight toe box. Cascadia 16 fits much better.

Had them now for 6 months. Loved them initially but the top is tearing up now. Not sure I would spend the money again if they won't last long enough.

I've had Brooks sneakers before and loved them/still in use. This particular model seems to be sized differently for some reason. Even though the length of the shoe was spot on, it was very tight across the top where the laces are. Loosening the laces can only help so much. My foot hasn't changed, so it must be sonething in the shoe design itself. I liked the look of the shoe, but this one isn't for me.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok, New Balance, Nike

They're a comfortable shoe and I like the laces keeper but aesthetically, not a winner. I saw the shoes online when purchasing but when I unboxed, I was surprised to see the actual color. They are much more gray that I was anticipating. I thought they'd be more on the white side, but instead they look dingy. I also think the sole looks very flat, like an old walking shoe. Feel good but are ugly.

Honestly I don't love them. They bring everything to the table like you would expect from the Cascadia's. I wish the color options were better. These are extremely bland IRL. Laces can't fix this amount of plainness.

Still a good shoe but a big step down from the Cascadia 14 which was the best Cascadia since the 6. An unfortunate attempt to narrow the shoe focused on the forefoot, with the midfoot now too wide (so the toes feel cramped but due to the wider-feeling midsole the foot slides around on steep terrain). Also the sole feels less protective and flimsier. To be clear this is a good shoe and I still use it regularly but if we could go back to the 14 I'd go through 5 or 6 pairs every year - that was a great shoe!

I preferred the Cascadia 14. The 15 is longer and more narrow.

The toe box is narrower than the old Cascadia. Wider would be better.

I have a wide foot and was looking for a lightweight hiking shoe. I ordered the men's 7 EE and still my foot was riding over the side of the sole. I wear a Birkenstock 38 sandal and usually men's wide will fit. These felt comfortable, but I knew hiking in them would give me trouble.

Have run many trails in older versions of the Cascadia. Tried v.15 and had terrible foot pain during a 2 mile walk. The area of the tarsometatarsal joint felt like it was in a vice. Back in the box they went. And Brooks, both color schemes for this shoe are garbage.

Overall, the shoe is pretty good and met expectations. However, if you use gaiters to keep debris out, the gaiter hook point on the toe is too small and incompatable with most trail gaiters toe hooks, so you'll have to hook the gaiter under the laces as you would on a shoe not designed for gaiters, which is disappointing.

The lacing system on the Cascadia 14 was better and I think the overall fit was better. I also don't liek that you got rid of the lace tuck in the tongue. Brooks is still be best shoe, but I think you went backwards with the 15.

I purchased a size 8 EE. It?s small. I own other brands without this issue. As a shareholder of BRKB I gave your firm a shot.

OK shoe- just needs a little more cushion on the bottom and would be great and tread redesign. Tread works great for trails outside but can be treacherous when descending stairs as the treads eagerly snag stair edges. Guess they were meant for outdoor only but I do not have time to change shoes going to work. Would also like these to be a little warmer as Iowa has more cold days than warm. The wind blows across the top of the shoe on every step, great on 90-degree days but chilly in winter. Perhaps Brooks should make a winter runner crossover.
