The Hyperion Tempo running sneaker is one of the best sneakers I have ever owned. I now own 2 of them! It is extremely light and makes it easy to run faster and further. In fact, I wish you can produce multiple colors of Hyperion Tempo to purchase in the future... Keep up the great newness at Brooks!

I ran in Brooks shoes for years but stopped doing so because quite frankly the shoes had become unresponsive. I had a sense that this had changed after watching video reviews of The Hyperion Tempo, which has proven to be correct. The shoe is amazingly responsive, has the perfect amount of cushioning, and is very light. I have done a series of 13 to 17 mile runs on steep hills with minimal residual fatigue in my legs. I have over 100 miles on them with no sign of wear on the outsole. My only complaint (which is trivial) is that the laces are both too short and do not remain tied. I easily remedied this by changing laces. They fit true to size. I will definitely purchase them again.

Love the shoes - They are fast and very comfortable. Just the right amount of cushion and support. Only gripe is the laces - They just feel cheep and would prefer the regular laces that comes on brooks shoes.

I switched recently after years of training runs and races in the Glycerins to the Hyperion Tempo. I was reluctant to make the change but all it took was one run and I knew I had found my new favorite shoe. They are light and comfortable and the design fits my feet perfectly. All of my runs are more comfortable in the Tempo. Several of the runners on my running team are now wearing the Tempo and all of us are impressed and pleased with the shoe. It's the best Brooks shoe that I have worn. Can't wait to try the Hyperion Elite !

I've been using the hyperion tempos for my tempo runs and interval work. As of now I have around 50 miles on them and look foreward to lacing them up on those quick days. Feel is light and responsive. Definitely a pleasure to run in!

Checks every box. I am always looking for the A-Z training and race shoe that works for a 6ft 2 in, 180 lb, 55 yr old guy with current fitness of 5k sub 20:00 & marathon sub 3:20. The Hyperion Tempo feels athletic & fits my narrow foot like a glove with a next-level upper. Fit true to my usual size 13. The magic is in the responsive foam that allowed for a seamless transition from 13 miles on Sunday at marathon pace to recovery 5 mi jog on Monday to speed day repeats on Tuesday. Yes, it is light but the "frame" and outsole rubber make me feel like I can run forever yet accelerate to 5k pace at anytime. When I put them on they look and feel fast. I have not run in Brooks since 2013 but this one is a winner.

Hands down the best shoe Brooks has created. The shoes are very light but probably the most responsive / highest energy return out of any brooks shoe. Good for daily training, but real benefits seem to come when running at faster speeds.

I've owned a few Brooks shoes over the years--the PureCadence 6, Glycerin 16 and 17 and Ghost 11--and this is by far the best and most exciting Brooks shoe I've had the pleasure to run in. The DNA Flash midsole is super light and responsive, and makes fast running a blast. There's enough rubber on the outsole to feel durable while not weighing the shoe down, and overall the Hyperion Tempo looks as good as it feels on foot.
The upper fits pretty well and is comfortable, even though it is a tad narrow and long. The stretchy laces led to some loosening for me mid-run, but I think cranking the laces a little tighter than I might usually at the outset will probably fix this. Also, I noticed the outsole had difficulty finding purchase on wet stone path during my run this morning, but that's not the end of the world.
What an absolute treat. I hope to get lots of exciting miles out of this trainer.

The Hyperion Tempo is a fantastic lightweight trainer. It is definitely a fast-paced shoe which I also intend to use for 5k - 10k races. Responsive with just the right amount of cushioning. Build quality is commendable. Runs true to size for me - I where the same size in the Ghost and Revel. Has a tad more room in the toe box compared to the Revel 3. Nice lightweight upper with no issues. Would like a bit more traction on wet surfaces. I always look forward to running in the Tempo Hyperion - - it puts a smile on my face. It's one of those rare shoes that fits greats, feels great and helps me run faster - it just works - you don't have to think about it.

Fantastic shoe
Many of Brooks recent releases have tended to blend together for me, but the experience with the Hyperion Tempo has been excellent.
Very light, and I really enjoy the more lightweight upper. The laces are very elastic and at first I had over-tightened them but realized the elastic quality allows for some expansion while running.
First day out of the box, had a really fantastic interval workout. Previously using the Nike Pegasus Turbo 2 for these workouts, but the Hyperion Tempo was just as light and responsive, but felt more stable underfoot. Definitely gonna be my fast workout, 5K and 10K shoe, but could probably get away with longer distances as well.

I've used many different shoes over the years, but I must say that this is my overall favorite for the moment. Very comfortable, stable and fast! On recent tempo runs I've been able to shave time on same course. I'm a 10.5 and it fits true to size. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Tempo for Boston this year, but I'm definitely going to give the Hyperion Elite a test.

All I can say is wow! My typical trainer is the Ghost 12 , I ran my fastest splits in these today. Toe box is slightly smaller then the Ghost, but still very comfortable. Can't wait to put some serious miles on them this weekend.

Its everything this shoe has by hyped up about. Great marathon training shoe! Inonly have about 30 miles on it so far but the stability and responsiveness are great. I have been having knee issues lately and this helps so much.

Best running shoes I've had this far, after taking it for a few runs it has felt great, super light and responsive for that extra boost to help get me through my run, and also feel good afterwards without me feet feeling super fatigue from the run. The laces are a bit odd and take some getting used to but not too much of a concern honestly.

Hyperion Tempo size US Mens 13 felt good out of the box. Took it for a 5 mile spin. Cushion but not squishy. Stable but light and fast. This will be my race shoe for 5k-20k races this year. Fit is slightly narrower than Ghost 12 and Launch 6, like the Revel 3 I would say. Length is consistent with other Brooks I have. Hyperion Tempo partnered with Ghost 12 for training is a perfect combo. Only concern is tongue seemed to slip down slightly throughout run, but was not noticeable to foot.

Comfort is only bad thing about it. It's not a comfortable shoe like brooks Ghost. But it is a good fit with high energy return. It is perfect for fast runs and hard workouts. If, you can tolerate a few workouts a week in a below average comfortable shoe I would get the Hyperion tempo. The reason I bought them was to disperse my miles across multiple shoes. If, you have the money, buy brooks Hyperion but also buy another pair of shoes for your daily mileage and long runs.

I?ve had these shoes for little over a month now and wanted to rate them a 4.5 out of 5.0! I started wearing these as my everyday runners for about 4-6 mile distances and have really enjoyed them. They are very light but still feel supportive on the bottom. I was wearing Hoka Clifton 9s and realized that every shoe is so different and that this shoe really described exactly what you were getting. I got the shoes on sale and am excited to keep using them. I am competing in a triathlon in about 4 weeks and will be wearing these for the run! Really enjoying the shoes so far.

It feels comfortable and fits good at first. Last cushion on long runs. Will keep using, but not for the runs over 6 miles.
