Amazing. I was seeking a light, fast shoe for quick tempo runs. The Hyperion Tempo exceeded my expectations. First run out it was quick, bouncy, and fun. Following the run my watch notified me of a new 5K personal best. Wow. Upper fits well, light, breathable - not overbuilt. Midsole performs really well - moderate cushioning, good energy return for forward momentum. Traction seems decent. Solid buy and I'm excited to make this my go-to for quick runs and races. Looks pretty good too.

Most comfortable sneaker I?ve had. Super light and definitely helps with pace. Only slight con would be I?m 210lbs and impact can be a little harder than a Ghost or similar shoe.

I am a long-term Brooks loyalist who was hoping that Brooks would figure out a way to provide more spring without adding weight. Weight was the unfortunate side effect of DNA Amp, making the BioMoGo and Loft midsole materials more enjoyable running experiences. That was until DNA Flash. The feeling of such a light shoe that provides so much spring and protection is the definition of Run Happy.
While I rotate between 3-4 different pairs (currently Glycerin, Ricochet, Hyperion & Hyperion Tempo), I am happiest on Hyperion Tempo days! The upper fits comfortably and doesn't have anything it doesn't need. Caution needs used to make sure the sides of the tongue are flat against the top of the foot. The "speed" screen on the left insole wore off within a couple of runs. I don't have any complaints about the laces like some others have indicated. Aesthetically this shoe is as perfect as it functions.
The Hyperion Tempo is the GOAT: Greatest of All Time.

Approaching 50 miles on the tempos with pretty much no noticeable wear and like them a great deal. They really shine going uphill as they are particularly light. Clearly they are a solid shoe for tempo runs but feel comfortable at moderate and slower paces as well. Fit is somewhat roomier than the launch 3, clifton 6, zoom fly 2 and endorphine speed in the forefoot. Lockdown takes a bit of adjusting as laces are stretchy. Upper is breathable and light - more so than any shoe I can think of. Traction is solid even on wet pavement and they don't absorb water in the rain. I find the tempo to have a consistent firm ride throughout the stride. The speed has a cushion feel in the heel portion but a different feel in the forefoot likely because of the plate. The outer heel in the speed also feels somewhat less supportive than the inner portion with regard to the foam. In similar runs I find the tempo to be a bit faster and my stride rate is 2 more per minute than the speed. Build quality is far superior to the clifton and similar in build quality to the speed. Tempo is a bit more than an ounce lighter than the speed. Overall I prefer the tempo to the speed.

Brooks nailed it with this shoe. The upper couldn't fit better even if was custom made. Light, quick and exceptional cushioning in the fore foot. My favorite feature is the natural foot strike. I like this trainer for tempo and faster long runs.

Love the shoe. As an older coach I don't do a lot of running but instead a lot of walking. It is lite and I feel a bounce in my step the entire 2 hour practice. My feet feel refreshed when I get home unlike wearing any other shoe

Very light and fast! Perfect for sprints, plate pushes, and jumps like we do. Much better performing than the levitates.

Love them! Just received a second pair. I've been running my weekday morning runs 3-5 miles nice and fast, and also took them on 14 and 10 mile weekend runs. So far so great!

The moment I put them on, wow, comfortable and light, like they're not even there - but there they are! Love the fit, lower drop, and weight. I am ordering a second pair!

Pros:
-Upper fits like a dream and is breathable
-Laces stay tied
-Looks great
-Responsive firm ride
Cons
-I felt a hotspot on one of my feet while doing some faster workouts, more than likely a personal issue that could be addressed with different lacing
-The ride is firm so if you're not looking for a firmer ride and prefer a softer shoe I would consider another pair.
