I decided to give Brooks a try this fall and ordered the Hyperion Tempo and the Catamount (from RW) because the reviews online were favorable. I was hesitant because Brooks' classic trainers have really high heel-to-toe drops and are relatively heavy. That said, I am glad I decided to give you guys a try again. The Hyperion Tempo is a fantastic shoe. Its DNA Flash midsole is that holy grail of cushion and responsiveness, the upper is simple, comfortable, and breathable, and the 8mm drop is perfect for me as a forefoot-striker. All of this comes in a very lightweight package that makes turnover quick and effortless at any pace. The shoe is quite simply a dream to run in. Brooks has a real winner in the Hyperion Tempo and its trail counterpart, the Catamount (I'll write a separate review about that one). I'll be training in this shoe and probably buying the Hyperion Elite for racing in 2021. You've won me over, Brooks!

These are the most incredible shoes I've ever owned and I run every day (literally have for the past 7 years). Only critique is that for my volume they go bad pretty quick; I get about 6 weeks' use out of each pair (~250 miles).
Located in DC now, did most of my training in Malaysia over the past several months.

Really nice feel. Went for a break in run and couldn't stop! Nice balance of low weight,
Cushioning, and springiness! Nice big toe box too for splay.

I'm a big Brooks fan. I've toggled between the Ghost, Levitate and now the Hyperion Tempo. Great shoes for road running. I use another brand for trails and yet another brand for speed workouts. I did have to go up another size with the Hyperion so I'm not sure if they run small or if my feet are flattening.
I'm looking forward to trying the Hyperion Elite in the Fall Marathon.

The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. It was still comfortable the entire way through my 10+ mile runs.

Absolutely perfect shoe. Using for sub 10 mile runes. Upper fit is perfect and comfortable, great heel grab and the base is flexible and responsive. Best for faster runs, really comes into its own in high cadence, minimum ground contact. Gets off the ground FAST. Only concern is for durability, but, the ride is worth it.

This shoes is definitely good for runners. It is very light, may look flimsy but absolutely strong . If you are one to look for support and all that garbage about arch support, this is not that shoes because if you are a runner arch support is not the priority. It is light , soft, true to size and width. Overall this is one great shoes to have.

The Hyperion Tempo is quite simply the BEST shoe that I have ever worn, period. The weight of the shoe vs. the cushioning and support are simply unreal; I can't believe I get this much cushion and resilience in a shoe that weighs so little. This is my go-to day in and day out shoe; get a pair as soon as you can!

Out of the box and into my first race in a long time due to COVID-19. Ran the fastest 5K in the past 3 years. I loved the springiness and the transition of mid to forefoot. Will be shoe for races and faster training as I am 170 pounds and not sure about durability but if it's based on first impressions, it's love at first site!
